The vendor booths were set up on the ice, wear your thick soled shoes or your feet will be cold. As most women's shoes do not have thick soles it was a challenge. Wear a warm sweater or jacket as mentioned the flooring was placed over the ice rink. The food was okay, the staff was terrific, very attentive.

This is a very nice entertainment arena that is seriously under used. They could turn this thing into a cash cow by booking comedians, bands and artists of all kinds at least 1 time a month. Don't really understand why they do not use it more.

great new building, sound, bathrooms seating was out of this world. Easy to get into and out of there parking.

You can see and hear from anywhere in the building. Avoid seats right by the stairs to the arena, you can still see but have a pipe railing in your view of the stage in lower rows.

Comfy chair backs, but your standard food concession prices! Great speaker and media system. Think they could have lightened up the interior a bit. It is a bit dark but beautiful.

We went there to see Willie Nelson and the seats and performances was excellent. Restrooms are plentiful , but there seems to be only one way in and out of the building as the remaider are locked or closed. Tickets can be expensive depending on the talent appearing there. Can't wait to see Jeff Dunhams show in March. I really hated missing Bill Engval but his show was the same time as Kansas State's football game on TV. We did go to a dueling pianos perforamace that include a very tasty meal after Willies show. So they have the arena as well as a place for dinner or special meetings shows. They have had Monster truncks, rodeo, Hockey and several other special events. The build itself is very nice and new. It is but a part of the resort complex including Boothill Casino next door and a a hotel and spa beyond the Casino on the north side.People were friendly and the parking lots large. I'm grateful that this facility is bring headliners into western Kansas so we can see some of the acts people in large cities take for granted. That alone makes this worth your time if you are interested in who ever is performing in the arena. Tickets there are no higher than any where else in Central United States for headliners.

We enjoyed a few hours in the Casino. Clean and easy to navigate around the floor. Appears to be new. Easy to find.

Any thing else the Casino and the State can get their hands on. Overpriced, no name venues, poor staff. CLean, because it is new

A little small but a very nice place for a show or whatever is going on there. We went to the bullriding championship there, great seats and no lines for food, drinks or bathroom... and COLD beer

The new arena is built next to a new casino and conference center west of Dodge City. It's out of town, but that gave them plenty of room and a large parking lot. Only strange thing is that is only ONE entrance in and out of the complex, and it took awhile to get out after the event was over. But the seats were okay, the sound was good, and the a/c was working. They have these LED panels all around the arena that they used to show animated advertisements while we were waiting for the event to begin. They were BRIGHT... but then they would have one that was darker and we thought that they were turning down the lights for the show to start... then the next ad would come on and it would be bright again! Oh well. Bathrooms were clean and conveniently located, and they had a vending stand open with a pretty good variety of snacks... that were outrageously priced. You could also order a beer. Good venue, and apparently, this was much-needed for the area.
