Best place in johnson county kansas. And not a sports bar.Alot of tables for seating, variety of music, decent size dance floor...very reasonable priced drinks...clean. For couples....no better place...

This place has a great D-jay who gets people out on the floor. Lets face it. It is a great place if you are 35+ and looking to meet someone over 40. Many people have done quite well there and the drinks are expensive enough to keep out the low class trouble makers. You won't see bar fights here, just people having a lot of fun in a throwback to the late 70s - early 80's.

this is a "private membership " nightspot in Overland Park, just north of the I-435.the good: a. decent size dance floor; b. 70s and 80s music included by DJ; c. relatively inexpensive drinks; d. clean; alot fo tables and seating so yuo can actually have a conversation and be comfortable.! not so good: a. can be aging crowd some Saturday nights; b. divorced guys troll c. no snackfoods.the unique: a. they sometimes have the "lifestyle" crowd (swinger couples) as clientele. Not bad as they dont infringe. But interesting to notice...

Visited this nightclub on a recent trip to the Kansas City area. We are in our early 50's and no spring chickens ourselves. With that being said on a Saturday night the club was packed and we felt out of place. We were way to young for the place. The bartender was great as was the service, but the people in attendance while nice we all flashbacks to the Golden Girls. So if your in your 70's plus, this is your club. If your younger don't waste your time. In addition all but two small (2 seat) tables were reserved for the late crowd at 6pm when no one came in till 9PM. Yes we left and came back hoping and were wrong.

Although this bar is here in my hometown - I have to review after the experience we had. Went with a group of friends on the way home from a dinner. First of all - we are all in our early 40's and may as well have been 21. This place is definitely focused on the late 60's and OLDER clientele - and if you are not a "regular" in the place, good luck getting a drink, let alone a place to sit. Its the only place in town that caters to this age group (since Dick Clark's American Bandstand went under) and the place was packed. The service was horrible and servers (bar and waitstaff both) were rude. In short - if you are in the mood for some people watching (ie.. watching greasy old men hit on overdressed old bar-fly women) - this is your place. If not, go further south to 119th & Metcalf where the younger crowd lives.

Touche is a really fun place to go to meet friends or 'strangers who become friends'. It's hard to find a place that caters to an older age group...I've been going there for years...my family meets up there to dance, my 26 year old daughter will even go sometimes, though it's more for a 'well over 40' crowd...Danny, one of the owners, is such a gentleman. Touche may not be for everyone, but I love the place and have had many fun nights there!!

My wife and i visited this establishment to have a drink and dance. I left my sweater jacket at our table and when i returned from the dance floor it was gone. I ask the bartenders and manager if it had been turned in, no such luck. It was a $125 loss for a mediocre time at a poor service, watered down drinks, club.

Don't waste a fun Saturday night at this place! We thought we'd enjoy a night of good music and drinks while visiting Kansas City. We made sure we made reservations and secured a table for 2 in our names. Arrived about 8:30 and was charged "Club Membership fee" ... ok only $10. I said "we have reservations too...do we tell someone else" to girl at door. She said, "no...just go right in". Nice looking atmosphere...hardly anyone there yet....all tables had "reserved" written on them. We looked around, waited to see a hostess or someone. No one was guiding us. We sat down at a table for two. Had to go to bar and get our own glasses of wine...still that's ok. Enjoying the atmosphere, disco ball, nice easy listening 70's music. We saw the waitress but she wouldn't glance our way so my husband went to bar to get second glass of wine. As he left, the waitress whispered in my ear, "you know you can't stay here, this table is reserved for this man...it's his weekly table and he's here." I said, "ohh ok but WE have reservations, where is our table?" She asked our name (not sure why because they didn't have a list). I said, "can we sit at one of those other tables?" (about 8 empty tables around). She said, "no they are all reserved for people." I said WE have reservations..where is our table? She ignored me and put the man's drink in front of me on our...I mean HIS table. I turned to the man and said, "obviously they have made a mistake, would you care to join us tonight." The man said, "No. This is my table." The waitress said there was no table for us and she said, "I'm sorry." At that point I raised my voice and said, "No you're not sorry..." She scooted over to get a small, bald man who was bringing a large young bouncer with him. My husband was back with the wine and the small bald man told us we had to leave the premises. I tried to explain that this was not OUR mix-up and we were just trying to ascertain what happened to our reservation?? He cut me off, led us to the door (refunded our drinks) and told the girl at the door to put an X by our name so we could not come back. We left, looked at each other and said, WTH? We are a mid-50's married couple from out of town, dressed up, spending money in a lounge and because we sat at a "regular's" table and they errored in seating us, we get thrown out? A very bizarre night and one we're still saying..."did that just happen?" Moral? Unless you are a "regular" single looking to score who has made a home at Touche, don't subject yourself to this poor service and (as we did) humiliation.
