There was LOTS of information about Hays' history and a few really cool exhibits but it just wasn't my thing.

If you visit Hays, Kansas, you must see this museum. One side of the museum is a limestone church that was outgrown by its members. They built a red brick church attached to the limestone church. When that one was outgrown, they built a new church at another location. There is a Volga German limestone house on the property and it gives new meaning to the term "open floor plan". They also have a firehouse on the property with two old fire engines. You can find the museum easily and it has displays telling the history of Hays along with a bridal section showing the fashion trends from the last 100+ years.
