davenport orchards and winery

the owner let us taste around a dozen wines for free! we learned a lot and really enjoyed the wines! Charlottes red is sweet and yummy and tastes like fresh picked concord grapes. mmm! we also enjoyed the port...not overly sweet. we really enjoyed others too. after trying all the wines we decided to walk through the vineyards and orchards. super fun experience!

The owner is super nice and helpful. He has a wide selection and a cozy place to enjoy your fav. We'll go back here for sure.

Visited on a weekday afternoon. The owner helped us to sample many of the dozens of wines that they make. They grow over 17 varieties of grapes and make some very very nice wines. In addition to traditional wines, they also make apple, peach, and rhubarb wines! The bottle labels are designed by local artists and are certainly collectable works of art!
