We always enjoy seeing the old trains and train depots. The appreciation of the volunteers who repair, maintain, and staff this attraction is truly commendable. The train ride itself was lack luster. No views really available, I think a FALL excursion would be more enjoyable with the fall foliage.

A group of over a hundred attended a private Luncheon at the Depot along with local Fashion Show of clothing and uniforms for past 100 years with local models provided by local Costume Museum......Abilene is certainly a friendly town and I would recommend small conventions being held there.
