This is a great place to take the family to get close to nature. An old stone quarry that is now a park. Camping and swimming and hiking....you name it.

Just needed a short walk to enjoy the warmer winter day. Very quiet and just the right amount of snow left on the ground.

Beautiful park, very quiet! The hiking was great, kids had fun fishing. We stayed in the cabin, the camping/cabin prices are some of the best around! We will be back.

Went on Labor Day weekend for a short (couple hours) hike and picnic. It was $6 to get our entire car load in.The waterfall was beautiful! Not very tall, but gorgeous nonetheless. There are rock formations similar to those seen in Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky throughout the park. The trails were fairly well maintained. I still find it ridiculous that people leave trash lying around, but the litter we saw was minimal compared to other places. We didn't make it to the beach or ziplines, but we are planning to return for an over night at one of their primitive camps. The only thing I would suggest is to mark the trails better. The map was incredibly hard to use since there were no trail markers, and it seemed like some people had just made their own. Not a terrible thing, but we needed to stay on a big path because of our stroller. We got disoriented due to the lack of signage and ended up on a narrow, steep path. Beautiful, but difficult with the stroller and toddlers!!
