We've been there a few times now for a stroll in the forest. Fairly new picnic area with a hiking trail through the forest, so there's plenty of shade in the summer. People think this area was prairie before it was farmed, but this is truly how most of Indiana used to be. Pretty little stream flowing through the property. Can get muddy in spots in the spring and there are times when the bugs are bothersome. One of the areas I've seen bluebirds .

If you are looking for a park without ball fields or noise, you just may have found the place. Donated by Sheila Biels, this small natural area is saved from future development, and a great location to relax on a short hike and contemplate nature.

This is a nice little park, It has a nice 1 1/2 mile trail and a very nice picnic area. They have a shelter house for a small fee. Not much shade in the picnic area due to the newest of the park. The trail are well maintained crushed stone and rest benches along the way. You could push a wheel chair, but in the stone might be a little hard. The trail is in a flood pain, with a small creek running through it. In wet times take bug spray. I do have a couple of pictures.
