carnegie museum of montgomery county

We have taking our daughter to visit and it's fun to see her learn and explore the local history of where she's growing up.

This is a very popular attraction here in Montgomery County, Indiana. Located in the first Carnegie Library to open in Indiana, the museum was established in 2007 after the library built a new building. The Carnegie bills itself as the museum "of Montgomery County for Montgomery County" but it's so much more than that! The museum has traveling exhibits stop here, but they also have exhibits about famous people from Montgomery County, such as puzzlemaster Will Short, and astronaut Joe Allen, and many others. It's a great place to take children, but adults will also enjoy visiting.
