Really enjoyed our visit to NHRA 60th Chevy Nationals at this Raceway. Great viewing and track for drag racing.

Went here for the US National NHRA drag races and it is a very clean track and everyone is very friendly. The bathrooms are clean and always kept clean which is good for a race track. They have great food vendors as well that come in which is nice so you have plenty to choose from.

If you love drag racing, this is the place to be on Labor Day weekend! The concessions are excellent, the bathrooms are well maintained and the parking is ample. What a great time we had!

This was a very memorable trip to this specific event? Every year is also spectacular! There is so much to see and visit at the NHRA Drag Races! You get to meet your favorite drivers and see these machines being worked on.

Despite the heat and humidity, nothing stopped these drivers from bringing out their best and really putting on a show!!Park at the main gate was 10.00

This is a very nice track. good viewing, parking was expensive 20 dollars to park in a dirt and grass field. But the Big Go drag races were worth it.

Want to be around power. Want your eyes and nose burn from Nitromethane. Want to shake in your seat as the Top Fuelers make their runs. Then come out to O'Reilly for the US Nationals during Labor Day weekend and experience all of this, and more, for your self. With pit access you can breathe in all the toxic fuel you want, and be scared out of your skin when a Top Fueler clears out the fuel line before shutting down. Two years ago I invited my Uncle and cousin from Ohio to join me. They both are gear heads and appreciate the latest technology. My uncle had not been in nearly 40 years, technology had obviously changed. I told him that this wasn't just horsepower, but violent horsepower. After the first Top Fuel run and our eyes stopped shaking from the pass of power, my uncle simply smiled and said....My God, things HAVE changed.

Can't blame the track for that...but rain was the main event of the weekend. As usual, this track is well maintained, very clean, even under the bleachers. People everywhere to help if you need something.Bleachers are nice too, aluminum with a back on them so you can lean back. Vendors in the stands to sell beer, soda, etc.Prices were high...$6.50 for a beer. $4.50 for a hot dog...nothing to write home about.

Cool place-steeped in motorsports history. No, we did not make the US Nationals-but did get to witness a lower tier series of professional drag racing, very competitive & fun to watch! In this day & age of 'Big Money" motorsports, it was refreshing to watch everyday folks with real weekday jobs go out and race. The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series featured Pro Stocks, Funny Cars. & Top Fuel, nitro-burning rail Dragsters-running ET's not too far off what the big boys do! One added treat was the snow mobile class-first time I witnessed these things run. They are fitted with rollers on the front skis & a specially designed "Tarmac Track" on the rear, they're running high 8's on the 1/4 Mile! Free parking-one added bonus for those of you who ride is that Motorcycles are treated with VIP parking up front on asphalt, by the ticket booth.

Known by previous names Indianapolis Raceway Park, then O'Reilly Raceway Park, this 5/8-mile paved oval just a few miles from the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway is a hot-bed for oval track racing throughout the entire racing season. It is my favorite place to spend the night before the Indianapolis 500-mile race watching the United States Auto Club National Midget Race called the Night Before Indy. Midget racing stars from around the country come here to compete in one of the most prestigious 50-lap midget main events in the country. It is a race you won't forget.

My brother raced SCCA every year until the raceway stopped maintaining the road course and dropped insurance. Sadly, SCCA will never hold races here again.

here is your chance to see the us nationals drag race during labor day weekend. each ticket also allows you to go in the pits. if you've never experienced 8,000 horsepower starting up, it is not for the faint of heart, and they are mainly idling in the pits. be prepared to wear ear plugs and if you do go in the pits, it's best to stand upwind of the dragsters when they start. the fumes are really bad. when the top fuel cars go down the track, you can feel them go by. they can even set off car alarms. you can also go to the oval track on the grounds. they have a few races there before the brickyard 400. well worth the trip.

I was there several times watching Drag Races. I also saw a young Lady there who Handled a Gas Turbine Driven Engine down the Strait away. It was great the Roar vibrated the Glass Windows of a near by Building. I worked for Allison Gas Turbine, in Maysville for a while when I was working for Allison Transmission.
