NCSU has a lot to see if you are in town. On main campus you can see the iconic bell tower which is quite cool. Some beautiful courtyards in which you can lounge on a sunny day, don't miss the student center and get some of the wonderful treats that are made right on campus. My favorite is the ice cream made by the food science department. Make the trip over to Centennial campus to see the Hunt Library. It is amazing and has recently been named as one of the best public university libraries in the world. The robotics are really cool. While over there you can enjoy a walk on the green way around lake Raleigh or a round of golf.

A visit to NC State is a great outing. Walk around the campus and visit the brick yard. The Centennial Campus is very modern and the new library is impressive. When on main campus check out the Wolf sculptures for some great pictures.

I am not normally a NC State fan but since my son attends this university, I am a supporter of my son and all that he loves. I did not like State until my son said that he really wanted to attend this university. After our initial visit in late 2012 or early 2013, I was impressed in that the curriculum would immediately start students with classes in their major which most universities do not do, including the one I attended.

I am at, through, and past NC State on a daily basis. My youngest son is a graduate (Physics) and my middle son is currently enrolled in the IT curriculum. The architecture of the various buildings is very interesting. Some of the buildings are quite old, but fairly well maintained. Most of the campus is fairly new, as it has grown a great deal in popularity in recent years. If you're looking at potential colleges - put this one on your list!!

ok, here is how it is. Im European...I live in a place where the university was founded in 1450....universities do not make me interested, for the sake of them...but, what can I say, I was gobsmacked by the hunt library....I have never seen anything like it, and it is just so worth visiting. its very retro...and yet visionary.....like a futuristic imagination of the 70's from the 50's, but without the silver suits, and moon base alpha, but devised last decade. totally fantastic in every sense. from the book stack with the robot which can pick one of the millions out, to the amazing chairs all over the place...from the playroom, gaming heaven, to the sound stages...yellow steps, purple and green chairs, everything arranged to be seen from above...it is one of the most amazing spaces I have ever seen. to be honest....im a bit jealous of the students studying here...it just wasn't like that in my day......

Centennial and main campus are amazingly tech friendly and the Hunt Library is not to be missed. The industry-university collaborations are spurring amazing innovations in many fields.

We had a wonderful trip for my husband's Homecoming which he had not been to in 20 years. The campus was gorgeous and clean, everything was extremely organized. They even threw in a free basketball game after the football game which was great.Thank you NC State for making this Homecoming a succes for my husband and we will definately be back next year.

I love this place but it is the school I went to but I think others would find interesting also. There are lots to see on campus and even some off campus.

I am not sure where to begin! This place is a home away from home! Beautiful landscapes full of trees, and brick buildings. It's nice to relax in the Court of the Carolinas and feel like you're miles away from your classes, even though you are right next door to them. High quality professors, and a friendly environment for all personalities! I'm proud to be apart of the Pack!

Love how it feels like college is nestled in its one place. Once you are in the green areas so quiet you won't realize the busy traffic around. Some people think it looks Los but they are wrong. Buildings are beautiful and brick walkways have so much character. Both father and daughter got great educations. Go engineers!

When you visit North Carolina State University, don't miss the Hunt Library. Words can't describe it. Just go see it.

This was our first college tour and my child loved it. The walking tour covered a lot of ground at a quick pace. Some of the older, less athletic parents struggled to keep up
