Condition of the course does not justify charging $57 to play. The course stayed with the old worn out greens while every other course in this area switched to the new variety greens. Now this one is worn out in the summer with a lot of bare patches. They cannot even grow grass on the tee boxes. Its like hitting off concrete. The range uses restricted balls so you have no idea how far you are really hitting the balls. Don't even attempt to play on weekends. A round of golf will turn into an 8 hour discussion about how awful the course looks, VERY slow play. Management and staff need a course on customer service. Its a Mickey Mouse organization, a lot of characters. Rocky River golf course seems to be getting a lot of respected reviews. That one may be a better choice

Have enjoyed playing the Warrior for at least seven (7) years. The greens are consistently good and the course is well maintained. This is not a splashy country club, however, it is fun tract around a beautiful lake (water supply for Landis, NC). There are some houses along the front side, however, the back winds around the lake where there are no houses. The staff are always very friendly and they have a new bar area which is an enjoyable enhancement to their restaurant/sandwhich shop. Outside the bar/restaurant you can enjoy a cold one on a covered deck overlooking the 18th hole. They have a nice driving range and practice green.Overall the Warrior offers very good value and I highly recommend it.

Great course. Enough of a challenege for your average golfer but not too hard. Green fees pretty reasonable and a friendly welcome

travelers beware!!! my wife and I were down visiting family and I brought my clubs along. I searched local courses in the area and picked warrior. when we finished the first 9 holes, we grabbed lunch quickly and headed back out. when suddenly this red neck jerk pulls up and says , I think we have a little problem here....and proceeded to blame us for driving over a green!!! and playing slow, stating that it had been 3 and a half hours to play the first 9 holes. That's funny because our tee time was at 10:56 and this redneck idiot approached us at 1:15!! Which is also after we went inside to get our lunch and use the restroom... We were behind an older couple the entire time and quite often had to wait to tee off while they were ahead. I told the redneck I've been golfing for 20 years ( I'm currently 27 years old) and think I know golf etiquette. when he replys, yea you THINK you know and that a member called it in, and if it happened again he'd have to ask us to leave. This jerk-off obviously had the wrong group, but wouldn't back down from his own stupidity. I felt like we were being spied on after that. also not to mention in an instance before all of this where a groundskeeper questioned us about driving off the cart path!?'!!? after I watch him tear down the fairway in a John Deere gator.....besides all if this the course is filled with hackers and is mediocre at best. spend a few extra bucks and go to a good course where you won't get harassed.

Myself and several of my friends played this course towards the end of May 2011. It was a shot in the dark but we were all plesently surprised at the shape of the course and how each hole was different and fun to play. Great scenery as well. It was $35 with a cart and was well worth it.
