We always love going here to buys souvenirs. You can find some reasonable prices. We like buying locally made things. It is neat getting pics with the Indians in full dress.

This is a total tourist trap. Which I expected and we went there specifically for souvenirs, but the "Native Americans" walking around were nothing short of beggars and they made me really uncomfortable. The whole area was in disrepair. And most of the shops were way overpriced.

There were great shops to visit. Tribal Elders were there to talk to. We had a blast at the Bull Riding area. The ice cream at Carolina Coneys was delicious.

This village can give you background information about the Cherokee area and is interesting among historical grounds.

This is just another shopping area. Nothing special except a working water wheel to grind corn. we spent most of our time in this first store by the river. Some of the stores are closing and it is well worn place. Many stores to shop in, but most have the same tourist items in them.

This is a great place to experience first hand what life was like for the Cherokee; and learn all about how they did things. The demonstrations were excellent, and I would go again. I would definitely recommend going to anyone visiting Cherokee.

This little village offers some really good retail shops. You can also see fudge being made and corn being ground into grits!! A really neat place to shop!! must do!!

Everyone was friendly and we really enjoyed learning about the cherokee and how they lived. Our guide was able to answer all question asked to her either by herself or with help from the people at each station

This is a small shopping center just off 441. With the interesting store-fronts, it's easy to do a little shopping without being assailed by the usual tourist trinkets and "junk". Prices are reasonable when compared to the other shops on the strip. Restaurants and an Arcade are also in this shopping center along with ample free parking.

This area is to the left coming off 441 from Gatlinburg. Basically a shopping center that you would see in any tourist destination. Not really in the busy main section but nicely set up. We found amazing deals here on souveniers, the other shops in the main areas of the town were selling the same thing for a ridiculous amount. Not handcrafted items from cherokee but the others were not either.

Sort of reminiscent of Gatlinburg! Saunooke's was looking a little sketchy but enjoyed it. Tubing was just across the street so I shopped while the younger folks tubed.

There was a lot of touristy (junk) and not enough of the real craftsmanship. I was looking for their hand made wares such as jewelry and pottery which I found at the craftsman building.
