You may think Riverside Barn Antiques is small until you walk inside. Then you will be blown away. It's one of the most interesting and fun antique stores I've ever been to (and we go to many antique stores in other states too). We actually went through the entire place twice to make sure we didn't miss anything. The people working in there are so much fun to talk to. The lady at the cash register had stories to tell us. We stay at Topsail Island a lot and from now on this place will always be a side trip we make coming home. I had so much fun in there and kept turning to my husband saying "oh look at that".

Actual name is "Riverside Barn Antiques." Great place to go if you enjoy browsing antiques and vintage items. There are a lot more items in here than you will think when you pull up in the parking lot. You can definitely spend several hours browsing in here if you enjoy antiques, Less than a 10 minute drive from I-40 exit on NC Hwy 41 east. Follow road signs towards Chinquapin and Beulaville. This antique store is only about 5 or 7 miles from I-40 and will be on your right coming from I-40. It is in a rural area and sits off the highway so you will need to pay attention to not go past it, If you go on a Saturday afternoon, be sure to check out "The Pink Supperhouse" which you will pass on your left about a mile before you get to "Riverside Barn Antiques." "The Pink Supperhouse" is a community run restaurant that is only open on Saturdays except for it is closed around holidays. You can enjoy some good Eastern NC BBQ Pork, Fried Chicken, Hush Puppies and various side items here. Go in front to eat in or go to the back door to order to go plates. The BBQ Pork is cooked fresh onsite every Friday night through Saturday morning, it is not precooked or previously frozen BBQ Pork!
