My son who is 1 1/2 loved it and thats what mattered but when a little girl got to touch the baby Tiger my son also wanted to and was told no how rude could you be to tell a baby boy no . Just because they where friends of the girl working there . I'm one mad mom . I though it was supposed to be a friendly place for family . Guess I was wrong keep..

I live about an hour away. This zoo is not worth the travel and most def not worth the price. The food should be included in that price. It took us an hour to see everything and I had to force another hour just because of what I paid. If they charged half of what they were it may be worth it. It was the second day of opening and they only had half their stuff opened and everything just seemed so poorly taken care of. If you live close by maybe a 1-2 visit a year. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

not a very friendly place , rude owners and staff I really felt not welcome and discrimination even when I voulenteered there I felt not welcome I don't know if they have something against people with a disability or what also I agree with just about everyone else not signs put up to tell what the animal is or any info about it , the owner does not seem to want to be friendly with people who are different most time when I was there I got ignored its funny because when I was do so called voulenteer work there they said I was not doing a good job and did not know how to talk to people and was not giving out any info on the tigers , that really upset me , then I went back a few months later for a visit and they was a girl who was doing so called voulenteer work and just standing there and not giving out any info about the tigers , I was asking her questions and she was like I don't know ?? ...I walked away laughing at this its sad when I wasted my time a drove down there to try to help out and it was not acceptable and they put me down I mean really putting down a voulenteer who is gonna go out of there way to help you also this place is not really clean I have been to other so called zoos and they are much cleaner and more welcoming than this ,

What a great experience! We interacted with the tiger cub, kangaroo, lemurs, and kinkajou. Everyone had the best time. Linda was a wonderful hostess.

We bought a groupon for the Christmas light show and really enjoyed the lights and the zoo. Everyone was friendly. The fireplace in the "lodge area" and the apple cider were wonderful on the cold night we visited. There were also smores available around the firepit outside. We saw the animals and our adult kids enjoyed holding a baby kangaroo and petting a baby tiger. We recommend this for a fun family outing.

We went to this outstanding display of lights and drove through an array of corridors of lights and beautiful scenes. Some were reflected off water. We ended up at the barn and Santa was waiting for us so we could take pictures. He had Tiger Cubs! Our Grands were delighted. We wandered around looking at other animals-the kids loved the Kangaroos! A wonderful preparation for CHristmas next week.

This was our first visit to zootastic. We went to see the christmas lights on friday night....they were so beautiful. 2 miles with 3 million lights!!! After the lights we went to the petting zoo and got to feed camels and wallabees, not your usual petting zoo. The kids also had horseback rides. Then for the best part......a 15 minute private encounter for the entire family with a baby tiger!!! It was INCREDIBLE! Everything we did was very reasonably priced. We will definitely be going back...soon! Very friendly staff.....so much fun!! This is one of my new favorite places.

the lights and animals are worth the trip. had a picture taken with a baby kangaroo named Scrappy, had an encounter with a baby lion named Nala. great deal, for $50.00 you and 5 friends get 15 minutes with a baby lion or tiger. great experience

As a former employee I have seen a lot. The management and staff are way to trusting of these animals as far as safety goes. These are WILD animals not domesticated. Because of this you cannot assume because they see your face as a zookeeper everyday that they will behave like your ordinary house cat or dog. The security measures are taken way too lightly. By that I mean providing the correct means of fencing, and containment, as well as procedure. Visitors are entrusting themselves and their family's well being to these folks. If your looking for a personal encounter, be careful what you wish for, because you'll Definitely get it here.

We are locals and try to go multiple times a year. No matter what time of year you go the staff is always helpful and very informative. My favorite time of year to go is of course during Christmas to see the lights.

This place is really great for youngsters making their first zoo trip and for the rest of us who have visited the usual kind of zoos. You can buy cups of feed that is suitable for all the animals that are only behind one barrier (a wire fence). It was quite exciting to see goats, llamas, camels and turkeys trot up to the fence to get a snack! Wash off the animal spit at the nearby hand washing station. Don't pass up the chance to do the wagon ride. The wagon will take you through the woods where you can see and touch zebras, bison, yaks, rams, emus, rheas and wildebeests. Our guide, Craig, was very knowledgeable about all the animals we saw on the wagon ride. Zootastic also has a way for visitors to have a safe feeding experience with tigers too. Other animal inhabitants include a giraffe, serval, kangaroos, wolves, ponies, gibbons, lemurs, hyenas, donkeys and parrots.

They have the best zoo we have been at ! It's not your typical commercial zoo. We have been to the worlds most famous zoos and we loved this one the best! You must do the encounters ! Well worth every cent . The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

We purchased the safari for 4 people and made an appt for the following weekend. Once confirmed, we were informed of the price. We asked if we should bring the Groupon and were then informed that Groupon holders were placed in groups of 10 and only accommodated one hour each Saturday. When I explained that none of these stipulations were listed, we were told that "they can't help what Groupon does." Very disappointing.
