211 bistro & martini bar

4 of us had gone from Nashville to the Pinehurst area for a four day golf outing. We found the 211 one evening after 2 tiring rounds of golf. Bad find.There were four or five others in the place (much like the other reviews state) and when one of our group ordered their special "Carolina BBQ burger", he went to put mustard on it and when he opened the bun he found just a burger patty on a bun! He asked about it and the waitress told him "they were out of BBQ sauce"! So they gave him this anyway. Ketchup for the cold fries was hard to come by, and another from our group just sat and looked at his cold food rather than complain and ate nothing which the waitress never questioned.My only question after is...how is this place even open?

As in previous reviewer, there on Friday at 6:30 and deserted. Nice atmosphere, despite being empty couldn't get drink refills. Food came out without fries on the side and three small pieces of fish were almost gone before they arrived. Portions were lunch sized but dinner priced and food marginal. Could have had better fish at Long John Silvers.

We were road weary and just wanted alcohol inoculation. Mrs. T and I stopped in for a bump and a bite while staying at the Homestead next door. I realize that August in Pinehurst is a slack time, so that the place was deserted at 7:30 on a Friday was not a surprise. Pleasant and attentive waitress. Rather unimaginative food...buffalo chicken flatbread and I forget what Mrs. T had. They do make cocktails, which is a plus. Nice cocktail menu as I recall. . Mrs. T went with a cosmo, I went with a martini, 3 olives. They came out promptly and cold, but a bit watery. I suspect the bartender had too much ice in the shaker. I'd like to hear from others about this place.
