My wife and I have been attending the Friday night dirt track races here for the past month. You don't have to be a "redneck" to enjoy the down-home pure racin' competition here. There are seven different type cars in competition for each of their events. Bring your fold up chairs, a cooler and vittles and be a part of the entertainment. You can park your car right near where you sit. The track opens at 5:00pm; race events start at 7:15pm and end around 11:00pm. There is a snack bar/grill and ice cream trailer on site. You can bring beer if it is kept out of view (i.e. use cozies or cups) - no liquor allowed. A family atmosphere. Admission is only $10.00 for the grandstand area (this is where you can setup your chairs) and $ 20.00 for the pit area. Children 10 and under free.
