Great place to go sit and just relax. This is also a very scenic park with an excellent walking trail which goes around a lake.

This is a really pretty lake with a surrounding walking trail. There is fishing and a neat dock where they have a recreation/clubhouse that people can rent.

Lots to see, walking trails, fishing, boating and a staff to assist you about nature. If you like nature, this is a breath taken place to visit.

Spent an awesome day at the park last week on a cool day. It was very quiet and peaceful. Two of the staff members made their way out to greet our dogs and one even brought treats!! Things like this remind me as to why we moved to Holly Springs. A long stroll on the path completed a wonderful day.

Beautiful lake, great staff and programming. Well maintained walking trail where you can see wildlife. You can rent a canoe, rowboat, borrow fishing gear. What a blessing

Bass Lake is more of a quiet, peaceful retreat kind of space for me than a "park". This is one of the most peaceful places to go in the area. Even when there are other people there, you still do not feel like it's overcrowded or loud. I love to go and sit on the porch on one of their rocking chairs looking out over the beautiful lake and just have a sense of calm and relaxation come over me. It works every single time. There are also nice benches and places to sit to bring a snack. The trail around the lake is an awesome walk and all in all, this is just a wonderful area.

My husband and I love this nature trail as it wraps around a lake, about 2 miles long. It doesn't loop, though, so be prepared to walk back again. Rocking charis on a covered porch and clean restrooms. There is a little nature shop there also. Community room for rent and nice view of lake from it. There are also benches by the lake to sit. Very clean and typically quiet for a park.

The tree lined walkway gives ample shade during the day to at least onside of the walkway. Very well maintained and a deep base of material to make your walk easy on your feet and legs. We walk our Rottweiler there often. Ducks, geese, turtles and frogs are part of the free entertainment.

This is a wonderful place to bring the kids and family. When my kids were younger (elementary and middle school) we hiked around it, canoed on the lake and just enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. It's a great place to go after school or on early release days. Several friends have rented the space for celebratory gatherings over the years. It's one of the things Holly Springs has done well bringing the lake back to life years ago.

To me, this is the crown jewel of Holly Spring's park system. A beautiful lake, the spacious clubhouse and a nice trail. If only they had more parking for the special events.

I have had meetings schedules here .... It is right around the corner from my home however I never made it over to check it out. During one of the meetings I wasn't feeling so well so I decided to take a walk. It was refreshing and nice to be able to have a small area I could take a short walk and the. A porch I could sit and rock and relax a little while enjoying the view. I went back to the meeting refreshed and feeling better.I can say after being to many different meeting places from hotel meeting rooms, to restaurants, and city commerce meeting facilities and on location meetings the meetings here gave me surroundings that I appreciated and felt more apt to participate. Now occasionally I just go take a walk when I need some quiet moments or wanna rock a little.
