The owner Ken and his wife are two of the friendliest and most down to earth people you'll meet. They also happen to brew some very tasty beers. Well worth the trip to Angier from anywhere in the Triangle. Take the tour and enjoy a sample flight of their beer. Not a single beer on tap that I wouldn't enjoy a full pint of. The Tea Party Vanilla Bourbon Porter is a must try for dark beer fans.

This is one of the better breweries to try in our area, however not quite just down the street from Raleigh. It takes about 30 minutes from W. Raleigh area but totally worth it. As the name suggests, they have an Alice In Wonderland theme and their beers reflect this with cleverly named beers such as the Jabberwockie. They offer 10 or so different brews and there are options of 6 tastings or 8 tastings. We didn't do the tour as we had just missed it, but we hung out with our bartender for the duration and she was super nice and approachable. They also offer freshly popped popcorn to snack on while enjoying their beer. You can have pints, get a growler to go and/or get some White Rabbit swag with a shirt or pint glass. Definitely worth the trip and we plan to go back as soon as we can.

If it weren't for Groupon, I wouldn't have known about this place. We met some friends here for the tour and tasting and would do it again for sure. You get to try 6 good size samples and then choose any pint they offer as well. They give you a CLEAN glass to take home as well. Oh, and we ate so much of the free popcorn while we were there for a few hours hanging out.

We bought a living social tour deal for this craft brewery. We have been to many brewery tours and often feel like we are a burden being there. NOT SO here. We were warmly welcomed, even with our 3 year old in tow. The staff was great and you can tell they do it for the love, not the money. Their beers are incredible and that's where their passion shines through! Their taproom is comfortable and cozy and their brewery, while not grand and fancy, illustrates their wish to be a small batch brewery. Good on you. Add this to your list of craft breweries to tour in the Raleigh area.

This is the first microbrewery that I've been to where I've liked every beer they have...usually, there's at least one or two beer samples in a flight that will turn your nose; not at White Rabbit: every beer tastes fantastic!They're a very, very small microbrewery in Angier, NC (about 45-60 minutes south of Raleigh). Right now they're basically a large homebrewer operation (they'll be expanding to temperature controlled stainless steel conical fermenters soon).If you've been to some of the local Triangle breweries like Mystery Brewing Company, Big Boss, Boylan Bridge, White Street, CBC, LoneRider, etc. then you definitely have to plan a visit to the White Rabbit.
