This museum is a historical village and full of interesting items collected by the community of Webster, South Dakota. It is definitely worth a visit if you are on highway 12. The exhibits are very complete and well taken care of. We received a great overview of the history of the community and area. A visit puts some life into the experiences of settlers and farmers of south eastern SD. Great place to go with young and older children - some thing of all ages. Donations welcome and deserved.

We happened upon this museum as we were traveling along highway 12. You first go through one building that is a standard museum detailing history of the area. THEN, you can tour an authentic village made up of period shops and homes moved into the acreage. One building has a nice display of antique and collector's cars. Plan on a couple of hours if you want to see it all. Donations welcome. It is Open May 15 through October 15th, 10 AM to 5 PM Monday through Saturday, and 1 to 5 PM on Sundays.
