The food was the best Greek food I have ever tasted. The home is beautiful. The service was good but different. Not real attentive and the owner was very brusk and wierd. Would go back just for the food.

The house is an amazing historic find in downtown Vancouver, WA. The flaming cheese dish, Spanika (sp?) was the best part of the meal for me, besides the baklava. The Zeus platter for two was excellent, with an assortment of Moussaka, Spanokopita and Pastisio (noodles imported from Greece). I tried the Greek wines, which were interesting to try. The waitress was lovely but disorganized. The owner was not friendly at all, although it was a Thursday evening. It was by a friend's expression "uncomfortable." The setting was cozy, but the chairs were uncomfortable and the owner just stomped around and fussed at the waitress it seemed. The food was very good. The ambience is just a little odd. I can't quite put my finger on it. My husband and I enjoyed the food very much and the waitress was very sweet.
