Most days there are tours and/or people in period costume in the various buildings at the fort. You might find the blacksmith there or other experts on the region and period. Very nice for adults or families!

Very informative and interesting. Take as little or as long a time as you like. We did self guided tour.

There is much to see in this one area of Vancouver. Officers row, the Fort, and the army quarters that have been abandoned and handed over to the National Park service. The real attraction in this area is the Fort and Officers row. All within walking distance. Get out and walk, I recommend it.

Will be back. Great for family. Friendly staff & special occasions listed. I enjoyed the historic garden in front of the Old Fort. Laid out very well. Many local agencies have "adopted" some of the buildings for upkeep. Plan to visit the Grant restaurant next time.

With Fort Vancouver, Officer's Row, and the Pearson Airpark there is lots to do and see. A great place to visit and learn some history.

The Fort Vancouver employees put on a great demonstration in all the buildings. It was like we were back in 1869! Many antiques are distributed around the buildings.

beautifully maintained and labeled buildings. Great landscaping with access to areas inside. Good walk options.

The cool thing about Fort Vancouver starts with the British flag flying that sets the stage for this outpost of the British Empire. A tour of Chief Factor John McLoughlin's house leads to interesting tales of the people and lifestyle from 1825-1845. I found shocking and sad the story of the fur trade. One warehouse has dozens of pelts--beaver, mink, wolverine, wolves--and cowhides.

Walking on these grounds gives you a sense of history. Stop in at the visitors center for more information. They have a great hands-on display for children.

This is a great quiet place to walk around and enjoy some history. Cool old buildings, beautiful parks, and cool atmosphere.

Even if you just drive thru it, you get a sense of history. Well-kept and interesting to visit. Seeing the housing and other things associated with a working barricks reminds me of what our military real means to us.

Everyone in the area should visit and pay tribute to our local history. I'm sure you'll find it very interesting.

What a great history and what a great place. Feels like you go back in time. Located near Fort Vancouver which is a must see, experience. Lovely place, grounds and people. Great historic significance in an otherwise sleepy place.
