discovery bay golf club

the servers are helpful and kind, the sandwich I had today was a BLT....everything very fresh and tasty!

This is the only 18 hole golf venue in the immediate area, and though it has it's drawbacks, it will satisfy the golfers obsession to play when in the Port Townsend area. The course is walkable, though several holes have significant green to tee distances, and the walk from 9th green to 10th tee is a Mankiller. The course uses gas powered carts, and many of them have mechanical issues. The fairways are bumpy, so riding in a cart gives the golfer a mighty shaking. Seniors can play 18 with a cart for $43. Golfers are rewarded with tremendous views of Discovery Bay and surrounding mountains from many of the fairways along the course. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the house made sandwiches in the clubhouse are good.
