Bowl and Pitcher, nature's marvel, are here. There's a little pedestrian bridge over the roaring river. You'll never forget how going across it makes your legs shake. It's a long and lengthy park along the river. The camp ground is very busy so have a reservation is you want to stay. We met a couple of the camp hosts at the recent RV show and you'd be in good hands if you have a problem. They know the answer.

I like going to Riverside Park out by Long lake. i like going to the big rock cliffs and hanging out. Right now there is no one out there this time of year. But come summer there will be all kinds hanging out and enjoying the sun and the water.

We go here often for Sunday walks, but it seems like there are always tons of people here. Not that we mind, but it's always surprising to me how crowded this little park can be.

I've visited this park in all seasons and it is delightful. From feeding the geese, to the rides, especially the carousel and winter skating, my family and I have enjoyed all aspects of this park. I was at the World's Fair here and still return to this park annually.

Great space and location. Excellent shows that coincide with the academy awards coming up soon. The food was excellent. Parking was close to the theater.

Got in to hotel late with just an hour before sunset. Advised by desk staff to visit this park--had no idea of the magnitude nor energy just two blocks away. Sun was just setting when I arrived, lighting was just coming on. The falls were stunning, the walkways easy to navigate, taking you to venues better than the one before. I will definitely make this a planned event if ever I should return!

These trails and walkways are beautiful. Had a wonderful time at Pig in the Park for eats and shopping.

We loved walking around the park in the mornings with the babies. Met several locals that were friendly and the Falls are fantastic.

This park is truly a gem tucked away in west Spokane. We take our kids and dog hiking along the trails which are along the Spokane River. The Bowl and Pitcher area and the bridge are a great starting point. Nice outdoor family time!

Riverside State Park offers alot in the way of hiking, biking and walking trails. Many trails are in close proximity to the river so pleasant views are plentiful. The paved Centennial Trail crosses through RSP. The park is very large so on many treks you will likely see only a few (or no) other people. DO NOT leave valuables visible in your car though as trailhead break-ins can be frequent. I never experienced it when I lived in Spokane, but I have seen evidence (broken glass) and read law enforcement reports. Plus you will need a Washington State Discover Pass to park in the lots.

Where else can you hike, bike, climb, swim, or raft just minutes from an awesome downtown scene? Riverside State Park offers options for everyone from the serious outdoor enthusiast to a casual midday office worker looking for a peaceful place to enjoy. a lunch break. Wildlife abounds, from eagles to mule deer and beavers in the river. I've ran, snowshoed, and biked the trails, climbed the formations and rafted the river... and always made it home in time for dinner! A great place to take visitors, even though it's on the edge of town it's never crowded or obnoxious with people. Another treasure of the Inland Empire!

You can't really believe there is a big city right outside the gates. A great spot to enjoy the day and/or a night or two camping. Great spot!

Great turn out. Should be a wonderful place to camp, hike or horseback ride. They put in a new arena for horses. Nice place.

This was a nice Park. If I ever get the chance I will try to bring my grandkids, lots to see and do and a great place for photographers. Close to lots of shops if that is your preference.
