This is a beautiful spot and great for me and my dogs. The hike was not too hard for me and my bad knees. If I needed to take a rest I could easily catch up with others at another part of trail. Great hike for kids too and of course, climbers love this place.

The Peshastin Pinnacles State Park is nice for hiking and popular with the regulars. Plenty of parking and a fee box. We box a State Park pass in advance so if you plan to go to a few state parks then it is a must to buy. Decent views but there are some power lines that run thru it.

This park is NOT your traditional family outing park of picnics and chasing butterflies (unless your a traditional climbing family :) ), if you stop by expecting tall trees, creeks and trails you will be sorely disappointed. This is really a wonderful climbing area, a good spot for a gnarly trail run and a definite must stop by if you want to capture some amazing photographs of the Wenatchee river valley. Great slab climbing, some crack. Not somewhere you want to take your kids if you are planning a relaxing walk on trails/by creeks etc. Don't forget your discover pass.

It is clear that some reviewers were expecting something different from this state park. The Peshastin Pinnacles were private property until the early 1990s, when the climbing establishment was successful in arranging for the State Parks to take ownership of the pinnacles as a park. So be aware its main reason for being is to provide an easy-access area for the rock climbing community. The power lines pre-date the park, and the trails are more for access to the rock climbing than for the casual hiker. Also bear in mind that the park is closed during the winter.

Way cool, but I can't believe they allowed power lines to be run right through the middle of the park. No way to get good photos unless you are a Electrical Utility CEO!

The rock formations are interesting to see up close and there are some great views both east and west from up high on the trails, as the park is located on the boundary between the forest and desert ecosystems between Leavenworth and Wenatchee. The trails could be better maintained, but the bathrooms were very good.

real tiny and not far off the highway...cool looking rock ridges but really not worth the stop...

We went the wrong way and it was a bit hairy with our small children. Ask someone there which way to go.
