if you got a couple hours doing this bike trail is absolutely fantastic especially during the spring and fall you will thoroughly enjoy it during the summer it's about 20 degrees cooler than the rest of the Tri Cities because of the coolness of the Columbia River. Lots to see and do as you're riding, lots going on on the weekends in the city parks of Pasco, Richland, & Kennewick as the trail works its way through the area.

This loop covers the cities of Richland, Kennewick, and Pasco. It is about 24 miles long, paved and off the main roads and glides along the Columbia River on both sides. There are 3 main crossing of the river with bike access which are scenic and safe to cross. I would recommend not crossing with young children. There are main off shoots of this loop that go into West Richland, up river through Richland to just short of the Hanford Site. Again that section is great for kids and families. There are all kinds of access along any of the trails so as you and the kids can have access or you are doing shorter rides.
