Great fruit stand and two giant floors of antiques. Found some really great things there and I'm looking forward to coming back in the summer months

We were on our way to a vintage travel trailer rally in Roslyn. We pass this place every year a few times but never seemed to be able to stop. It is very visible from I-90. We had a little extra time this year and always are looking for vintage stuff for our 1949 travel trailer.Plus you can gas up, take a break, buy some fruit, get some coffee. All good.Not sure what we would find but there were two full floors of antiques. Some nice stuff really. Good place for a break and will have to do it again next year.

Don't be misled in your thinking like we were. We thought that this would be mostly a fruit stand with just a few antiques. Wrong!!!! The fruit stand is on the ground floor. There is a second and third floor that are completely filled with antiques. So if you like antiques, make sure that you stop here. What a fantastic place.

This is the perfect stop when driving between Eastern and Western Washington.It's not really a destination, but it's the perfect way to stretch your legs, grab a soda or latte, a few snacks or fresh fruit, answer nature's call, fuel-up the vehicle, and even pick up an antique for the collection.Avoid Ellensburg, George, Moses Lake, and Ritzville, and just jump off the freeway for a few minutes or an hour (if you like looking through thousands of antiques/collectibles.We're always glad we did.

I enjoy the thorp mall, 1-2 times a year amidst travels. Although I think some of their stuff is slightly overpriced, I really enjoy the laid back feel of the place. They have all kinda of goodies downstairs and all kinds if near old stuff that reminds me of my grandparents up stairs. This last trip I found a great Mickey Mouse wall clock for my uncle that I'm sure he'll appreciate. The staff was friendly and informal. As I said before I really like the small town feel of the place, it's a fresh breath from big chain style venues. Awesome selection of hot sauces as well. I'm kind of a connoisseur and this place always has something new worth trying.

We come from an avid antique town, this was great fun to browse through two packed floors of antiques with some unique and tasty treats downstairs. Found a couple things we couldn't leave without and enjoyed our hunt immensely. The only thing I can say is if you're coming in winter...BRING A COAT. There is no heat in this building and it gets COLD. If you can deal with the cold and like antiques, you'll love this place!

We stopped and got our fill of local produce. Lots of other stuff to buy and could get everything you needed for a great picnic. Easy to get to as right off the highway. Very helpful people - there was bad traffic going west and they made a point to tell everyone a good option for going around it or in our case asked us about how it was and what to advise people to do. Just nice to support people who care like this. Yummy peaches!!

This is the place that my family stops everytime that we are coming back from Seattle. This is kind of a goofy place but thy have great little candies and different foods. They have honey there it's nothing like southern honey but it is so much better than that stuff in a bear. They also have all kinds of fresh fruit depending on the time of the year that you go. I love bringing fruit home apples and anything in season that they grow in the area. Everything there is so yummy and fun to look at. The salt water taffy is delicious. I don't think that there is anything bad that I could stay about this quirky little store.

We stopped here and were disappointed in the rock hard peaches and how there was so much variety that it was unlikely it was all local. We. Drove back to exit 93 and went to Red Sky Orchards farm stand They had 3 varieties of locally picked peaches to sample. 2 were absolutely delicious!!! We bought a box of those, some Ranier cherries and some bicolor corn from Yakima Valley. The woman who waited on us was very knowledgeable and nice. I highly recommend Red Sky Orchards. Their blog even thanks you for supporting local growers.

Nice little shop. There is actually a much larger fruit sign a little further west down I-90. Its at least 40 feet tall and neon green; since I'm into that kinda thing we had to stop by. You get that far inland fruit becomes a tourist attraction, eh?

First, and most important, DO NOT SPEED on this section of I-90. Trust me, I know. There is a lot to look at at this fruit stand. It is also super easy to get back on I-90 and on your way. There are a lot of different kinds of locally made specialty items, besides fruit, like jams, jellies, sauces, wine and beer. Since eastern Washington tends to be hot, the ice cream stand is sure a nice respite from the heat. The Antique Mall upstairs is very large, with what seems like hundreds of stalls. If you want a specific antique, it is probably here. It just may take you a while to find it. All in all, worth the stop.

First, I will confess that we are antique store junkies. We've travelled the beautiful Oregon coast many times and continue to enjoy the bounty of 'antique' (even though some are really thrift stores) stores. On our way to Ellensburg to take in the Kittiass (sp?) Rodeo, was saw this large store - decided it was a must stop on the way back West.Within the large building there are 2nd and 3rd level mezzanine floors; each with thousands of items in stalls (sections) which i believe are leased by different people. There were definitely so antiques, and of course some garage sale kind of items. Overall, the collection is worth checking out as you never know what you'll find. I did tend to find the goods somewhat pricey. Perhaps that's only a reflection of my own picks from other stores that were less expensive.Access off Hwy 90 West was easy and parking fairly reasonable. Accessing with a large Class A would be possible, but a little more difficult for sure. I wouldn't suggest pulling a large FifthWheel into the parking lot. There are some locations to park on road side.We did not explore the fruit stand portion.

We occasionally stop here on our way to the other side of the state or even on our way home. This last stop was kind of disappointing. Yes they have lots of different things to buy and the antiques upstairs are really fun to look through. But as far as the fruit goes, it's way overpriced. It's not 'farmer's market' type pricing, more like grocery store 'not on sale' fruit. We bought a small watermelon and other fruit just to last a week and the bill came to 35 bucks. I guess I'd rather stop at a local small type farmers market to get fruit and know I'm helping out the little guy.

If you're driving through Eastern WA and go past Thorp I highly recommend stopping at the Thorp Fruit and Antique Mall right off the highway. Take Exit 101 off I-90. You can see it you won't miss it so don't worry about getting lost! They have tons of fresh local delicious fruit! There is also a lot of other foods than just fruit, but I always stop for the Apples, Cherries, and the Nectarines! MMmmm MMmmm!
