deception falls

This is a USFS picnic area beside a nice cascading waterfall. There is a walking bridge over the falls, and a very easy half mile walk on well groomed trails through old growth forest. This park can become quite busy on the weekends. The park is closed from "roughly" October-ish through April-ish depending on the snow pack. It is a great place to get out and stretch your legs when heading over the pass on Highway 2.
