blue spruce saloon

My husband and I always eat at the Blue Spruce when we are staying in Packwood for skiing at White Pass. The staff is very efficient and friendly. As it is one of the few places to eat expect a crowd especially during the weekends and holidays. My husband had a sirloin steak which was cooked to perfection and all the trimmings were excellent. I had the chicken which very moist and succulent. Even the microbrews are a fair price. It is fun to talk to the local citizens which also includes the people with cabins. It ia a great gathering place even if you do not drink.

We stopped in Packwood for the evening, came into Blue Spruce for a bite to eat and got to watch some of the Washington game. Basic saloon, we did have to send back our chicken as it was not fully cooked, but they didn't charge us for our beer and were very apologetic about the situation... We would probably try someplace else if we get back up there sometime.
