I visited here as part of my first AGF15 and was shown around by Al, and a new volunteer trainee whom I forgot his name, that works for Boeing. Both were friendly gentlemen who really do know their history and planes.The exhibited planes are placed close together and you can walk amongst them up close, and some have step ladders to view into the cockpits. They are all shiny and well-kept, and apparently all operational and fly in airshows.There was one plane outside, and while we were out there, a test B777 taxiied down the Paine Field runway and took off, which was a spectacular sight on the beautiful clear day we had. We also saw a hawk circling around nearby.History and aviation buffs will get a kick out of this museum, and while it's smaller than the other museum, I enjoyed it better than the other bigger Paul Allen museum. It's more intimate because of the dedicated volunteers who run it.

Historic Flight Foundation is really unique amongst airplane museums. Where else can you walk right up to so many classic airplanes kept in tip-top shape with no ropes? The founder of the museum is frequently on-site and is a friendly guy answering questions about his many flights in the F7F Tigercat, MIG-29 (which is now on the other side of Paine Field at the Flying Heritage Collection), B-25 and others.It's great to stop by here, Flying Heritage Collection and the Museum of Flight Restoration Center to make a day trip of it. All are within a few miles of each other around Paine Field. Historic Flight Foundation also holds many events throughout the year - talks on historic aviation, air shows/fly-ins, rides in classic war birds. Definitely worth subscribing to their newsletter and dropping in whenever possible.

Having worked at Boeing for almost 30 years, the tour beginning with the Future of Flight provides you with how it all began. As you pass through the front glass doors, you have this feeling of history in the making. From the bird's eye view of planes hanging from the ceiling to the massive jet engine section on the floor. There's even a simulator for the "brave at heart".From the front entrance look to your left towards the gift shop for some marvelous airplane related items and others to share when you arrive home. Don't miss the clothing/model shop either. The miniature airplanes are a little pricing but each one is an investment in airplane history and to be treasured forever.For you camera buffs and everyone else, take the elevator or stairs to the observation deck where you have the amazing view of over 50 new Boeing planes in preparation for acceptance and delivery to our airplane customer domestic and internationally. A sight you will remember for the rest of your life.If you have not afforded yourself the Everett Boeing Tour, don't leave the area without it. This tour shows you but a small part of how we take millions of parts with a dedicated team of mechanics, electricians, engineers and countless other disciplines to produce the finest airplane in the world. So the next time you fly, remember what you've learned from your tour and that flight will mean so much more to you.

I loved this tour which brought back all the memories of early travels on my favorite airplane the 747. Love the tour, museum and the Boeing store that had great prices and hard to find memorabilia.

Great Tour. I reccommend this tour to all my friends. We even went back the next day to do the Gallery in the basement of the building.

huge facility and great viewing and imaging options. Place has historical sites related aircraft manufacturing and wood plants. Traffic is organized but a visit to space will face slow traffic due to constructions near the space needle.

WW II Aircraft in flying condition and fly every other weekend on the other side of Paine Field. Japanese, British, American, German and Russian aircraft on display and fly on selected weekends. If you like old aircraft, there is Nothing to dislike about this museum. It does NOT have a snack bar.

Worth the money, folks walking around to help you and give you background on all the exhibits. Wonderful!

Great to see these old planes being kept in flying condition. If I had the money and more time, I would love to take a ride in one of them. Our guide was a WWII expert and former pilot and knew all sorts of things about every plane. We could touch, look inside, go inside some of them, and take as much time as we wanted checking out each plane. Fantastic.

Better consider being there.The HFF guys go all-out. From having WWII reenactors paired up w/ US Army Rangers to commemorate D-Day to hosting the world's only flying B-29, you'll be impressed.

If you're a history buff this is a pretty cool visit. I got to look into a WWII Bomber that was a definite highlight.

Although a bunch of aircraft in a smaller space, a wide variety of excellent condition airplanes that covers several different areas.Very accessible, no ropes around the airplanes, but please don't touch! They are very delicate on the ground.Friendly folks willing to show you around and tell you about the airplanes. Larger airplanes on the ramp outside that you do need an escort to view (active airport ramp) we had a terrific tour by a young lady who gave us the amazing history of the DC-3 in their collection!Very happy to be able to visit!

Great planes and musuem, immacualte, restored, aircraft that tell timelss stories and they all are able to fly.Amazing P51 Mustang that you can get up close and see.

This museum is not very large, but they have some beautifully restored vintage aircraft, mostly from WWII. Unlike most museums you can walk right up to these birds and touch them, walk under them and closely view them from all angles. Several birds are out on the tarmac on airport property so you have to be escorted by museum staff to see them. I was able to climb into some of the planes, what a thrill that was!If you are visiting the Everett, WA area and you're an aircraft buff, don't miss this experience.

Love going to see the of all ages & watch them fly. Love going to their flight weekend shows at the beginning & end of summer.
