Friends were visiting from California so we all went to the Lincoln County Historical Museum. There are items outside in front (one is an old jail cell), inside are artifacts on 2 floors, and in the back are covered areas with an assortment of antique farming equipment and tools. We all especially enjoyed the display about the outlaw, Harry Tracy, whose life ended nearby. There is no admission charge but donations are encouraged. They are open May 1 - Sept. 30 from 9 - 5 Mon. - Sat. The local Visitors Information Center is there too. It's one block south of Hwy 2 by the city park and pool plus a Subway restaurant is just a block away. Definitely worth a quick stop!

Have taken my grandkids there in the past, there is alot of history here. Also a close by park to have lunch if you feel like making a day of it.
