I read the reviews others wrote and I thought it can's be that bad. I was soooooo wrong. We checked in and checked out. Lost $100 but didn't care. It was the dirtiest / filthiest place I have ever seen or been in my life. My poor husband took a week off work and this was suppose to be out summer vacation. We drove 6 hours to get there, and in addition it was out first trip with a new puppy. An hour later after checking in, checked out and drove back for 6 hours and got home. It does say this is not a motel or hotel in their advertisement and I was ok with that, but nowhere there did it say in 104 degrees weather the air conditioner didn't work. Also, bathroom didn't flash, hair everywhere and more I can't go in details..... Spider webs, water that smells, carpet is ripped, couches that are black filthy from dirt and so much more......Beach area was not enough even for a family of four, and nothing to do. Play structure not safe and scary for kids to play in! So disappointed. Wi-Fi didn't work and you can't even make an emergency call if you had to. We got home in Portland area and have a whole week to find out what else we can do. Just so sad and disappointed! The most boring, filthiest, depressing place I have ever seen or been in my life and I come from a third world country. I felt like I was in a twilight zone episode! In another note I got to say the people in the front office/own the place are very nice and just hang out there. I wish they could take care of the place and clean it up instead of just sitting there doing nothing. Speechless.........

Facilities are filthy. Old tent stakes left in what little dead grass there is. Minimal shade in tent camping area, as the trees are small and have broken limbs. No mini golf as pictured on the resort map. Swimming area is very small. We paid for 2 nights up front but only stayed for 1 night. They would not credit us back our money for the night we did not stay. We will not stay here again and I would not recommend Blue Lake resort to anyone.

Good access and facilities. Plenty of room for recreation. Wonderful vistas.
