challenger ridge winery

Very nice little winery located about 3 miles west of Concrete. The tasting room is snug and cozy. With a reasonable selection of wines to try. Some of the wines are better than others ... so give them all a shot. :-) The vineyards and grounds are immaculately well kept and clean, which makes for a nice visit. Picnic facilities are available. Overnight camping above the vineyard is also an option for a modest fee. Most impressive is the fact that the owners are very strong supporters of the local area. Many local events are sponsored by the winery.Hours are rather variable during the "off-season" so call ahead if planning for a winter visit.
