waitts lake-chewelah scenic

We have many family memories on this lake! My dad owns a home on the shores of Waitts Lake and we come up every summer to visit. My kids have grown up spending time on this lake every summer. It is beautiful and peaceful!

This is a nice Lake, it warms up for Swimming, has a shore area with no housing on it for privacy and a large Public Launch. There are 3 Resorts lakeside and they seem very busy. Trout fishing and sports, water skiing etc. Just a few miles off HWY 395, Valley Washington.

What a beautiful valley as you come down US-395. There is a lot of history in the valley.

If you like to drive and look at trees and mountains I guess you might enjoy this if you have time on your hands. The winter time brings alot of snow in this northern area and can be prettier this time of the year. Small casino is nothing too special. Just alot of outdoors. This is known as a great hunting area for deer and elk. Bear cougar, and mountain lions also find their home here.
