The Liberty theater in Camas is a step back to an earlier time when you would go to a big palatial city theater to watch a movie. As the room darkened the screen would come alive with greats like John Wayne, Cary Grant, Henry Fonda and on and on. The theater occasionally runs old classic movies, which we try to catch. Admission prices are reasonable, and there is an array of snack foods to munch on. The Liberty usually gets movies very quickly after the have run in the first run multiplexes. What is hurting the Liberty is the lousy quality of movies today. It's been several months since I've gone there, usually to see one of their classics. Give us some decent flicks and I'll be back at the box office.

We took my Grandson for a kids movie and a popcorn. We had a fantastic time in this beautiful restored theater in the heart of downtown Camas. Fun clean place for family and friends along with a business meeting. Also a good causal date for lunch or dinner with restaurants accross the street. Dinner and a movie.

we stayed at the old Camas Hotel in town and loved the feel of downtown Camas for the holidays! The Liberty Theater was the highlight! The architecture was so beautifully and lovingly restored Prices are only $4 per movie with new, classic and foreign films available. Popcorn is great too!, highly recommend !

We love our renovated theatre!! Staff is friendly and helpful..$3 movies on Tues and $4 rest of the week..they usually have 5 to 6 movies showing daily and are very good at getting top rate movies and Sundance and Indy films..Grenada Theatre is small and cozy and you can take beer and wine in..they newly opened the Bavarian Deli adjacent to theatre and can take food and drink inside the theatre..we go at least twice a month! This place is a real gem!

This little theater is amazing. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere quaint. No first run movies but new enough. This is like the old theaters of the fifties and sixties. They have a crying baby room and the big curtains that open to expose the screen when the movie is about to start. Really a fun place.

I stopped in one evening and saw a cool film The Skeleton Twins, which I had not heard of previously. It was great and I enjoyed going to the kind of place we had in the 60's and 70's.Very nice and just down from the Camas Hotel. And only four bucks to see a movie !!

The Liberty Theater is a renovated old vaudeville stage that now shows movies at great prices. It fits right into the quaint town square streets with the gas lights and adorable landscaping, boutique shops and restaurants. I would love to live here, we adored it so much!

Great low prices, really good and inexpensive popcorn, with real butter! $17 for two people including tickets to a newer movie and large popcorn. Can't beat that.

The theater has had some renovation done and now offers beer and wine in the upstairs area (only those 21 and over may sit in the upper area - be careful not to bump your head on the low ceiling!). It's a quaint theater and it's great to see a movie for so cheap!

The restored theatre brings you back to when you were a kid. Great movies for small bucks. A great place to bring the kids or a date. Be careful not sit behind tall people but a great small theater in Camas, WA

We recently used Camas as our home base while exploring Portland and its surrounding areas. In the evenings when we got back to the little town we would stop into the historic Liberty Theater to see a movie. Each show only costs $4 per ticket (I think it's even cheaper on Tuesday nights). We saw films in the smaller Granada theater which still had a decently large screen for the room size. The first film we saw nearly sold out, so it's advised to get tickets earlier in the day and to arrive about 20 minutes before the show to secure a seat. The theater itself was very clean.I don't think there's too too much to do in Camas in the evening and the Liberty Theater was a nice respite from our sightseeing and traveling during our stay.

Love that I can drop by and catch a movie that I missed in the first release. The beer list is nice and they even have a good pale ale from Mill City. Clean theaters and very comfortable!

You can't beat the price of $4 pp on a Saturday night to see a show. The main theater has lots of seating and I love the fact that the screen is on a stage. The quality of the image on the screen and the sound seem on par with a lot of the first run theaters in the area. All the staff I've encountered there are very friendly and helpful and the place seems well maintained and clean. A nice touch was the fresh vase of daises in the women's bathroom. I have never had any popcorn, snacks or drinks there so can't comment on that. They often play second run movies or indy movies... fun to see if you want to get away from the crowds and mainstream big blockbusters. There are lots of restaurants nearby so pairing a movie with some good food and drink makes for a fun date night in the cute little downtown area of Camas.

Being local to Camas Washougal area, I love having a theater close by. Lots of variety in the shows, although they usually are just once a day. The smaller theater is small but cozy and the screen is just fine. Love that you can now order beer and wine. That makes our visits more frequent for sure!
