I love the ambiance of this tavern even though the only thing I do is get their take-out BLTs. We, then, take it to our RV (parked at Fidalgo Bay RV) and eat it. Without a doubt....it's the best BLT and fries ever. We've done this 3 times. I'm a VERY healthy eater and it takes a lot to make me "fall off the wagon". This sandwich is worth it. In fact, it's all we ever order. I highly recommend it!

Very neat old interior. Burgers were excellent and the beer selection was decent and tasty. Enjoyed our stop here. Would definitely return if/when in the area.

Our group has been to this pub a number of times. It's amazing how friendly people there are. There's a barman there, JG I think is his name, who is really special -- super friendly, funny, and goes out of his way to make his customers satisfied. But almost of the staff are good or better. Prices are reasonable, drinks ans food are good, tap beer better than good.

We were in town for the huge city garage sale event in downtown. We stopped in for lunch knowing it was crazy busy but we were waited on immediately and got our beers right away. Our server was very familiar with all of the beers they had on tap. We ordered food, a blt and a small nachos. The food came quick and the portions were huge and delicious. My wife said it was the best blt she had ever had. We couldn't finish half of it and took the leftovers home for dinner. Great place, great atmosphere, and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

We had the bacon cheese burger and it was delicious. The yam french fries were a nice change from the usual fries and quite tasty (note: I think you pay an extra fee if you choose the yam fries instead of the regular fries). We also ordered the Snicker Bar pie for dessert which, in my opinion, is a must eat so save room at the end! I did not try the beer so can not comment on this.Pros: good bar food and dessert;fun bar atmosphere. Cons: slow service, waitstaff could practice a better attitude.

At first glance, you are not sure what to expect in this pub. But after eating there several times on business trips over the last 3 months, it's one of my favorites spots in Anacortes. Service was good and having a local with us who knew the servers really helped. The salads are fantastic, fresh and can be customized to help with food intolerances. I can honestly say I had the BEST BLT sandwich and fries I've ever had anywhere! Prices are very reasonable and it's a great place to relax and enjoy some great food. Will definitely come back again!
