I signed my daughter up for the teen defensive driving program because she just got get driver's license and I wish to keep her as safe as possible. She and I are very pleased with the experience and I have greater peace of mind....

This is a first rate, top flight, professional operation. The amount of seat time you get is amazing and the performance of these cars is unmatched by any other racing/driving school in the country. A must experience for any serious racing enthusiast.

My wife gave me the performance driving program for a Christmas present. I’m a lucky man! Last Friday, I got the opportunity to drive my 2007 Z06 Corvette on the Sonoma Raceway as part of the one day-stage one class. The class, instructors, and raceway are awesome. It was a real experience in my own car, pushing the performance envelope, and learning how to better drive and handle my own car in a safe and secure environment. It was a great day at the racetrack and I brought home the experience and memories on a GoPro video that I rented while there that captured everything from my windshield view. I would highly recommend this class to anyone who wants to learn how to handle their own vehicle in a performance or safer manner. I can’t wait for Stage II

One of the best thrill seeking experiences I've had... great facility, great instructors, loads and loads of fun. If you're even considering this just do it. I'm not a race fan, don't spend time on playing racing video games, but I do enjoy driving. I'm hooked. Can't wait to go back. I'm a better driver after the class and now know what both me and my car are capable of. I took the performance driving class, where in the morning you have a class on basic theory and safety and then head out to the asphalt to practice driving through a single turn (many, many times) and a slalom course to get the basic skills down. Then in the afternoon, more theory and safety and then you head out to a mini course - an autocross course - where you put it all together. After that it was 2 25 minute session on the real track... go see what you made of and sign up!

I signed my 18 year old daughter and myself up for the teen safe driver program. There were 14 young drivers, and 2 of us Dad's in the class. We started in a classroom, and did a brief intro, then we headed out to the cars. The course is 95% hands on, behind the wheel, with your instructor guiding you every step of the way via a radio in your car. We had 8 distinct skills to learn, and practice, like high speed lane changes, ABS braking, and understeer/oversteer. It was fantastic! The Instructors were personable, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. I am delighted these skills are being taught to our young drivers, and was happy to have learned so much my myself!

Had a brilliant time driving my S2000 at Sonoma Raceway. Simraceway provides solid instructors and a well-paced program for their Performance Driving classes. It's paced to get you used to high-speed driving and vehicle dynamics, maximizing in-seat drive time. Instructors give real-time feedback via radio as you're driving to provide corrective feedback and encouragement. Solid program for the price and highly recommended!

I signed up my 20 year old daughter and 16 year old son for the teen safe driver training program. They had a tremendous time and learned so much that they would not be able to do elsewhere. The instructors were top notch, the classroom time resonated with both the kids, and the different in-car training sessions gave them a much better understanding of what a car can and cannot do.Most importantly they learned more of their limitations and capabilities, and how to handle situations they might encounter with other drivers.Excellent job by the Simraceway team.

I went here to do the teen highway survival course and absolutely loved it. They take it very seriously and they help you every step of the way through the different things you do in the car. Everyone who took that course with me said they had the same feelings towards the course. In the past, I have also done the Race Go-Kart Lessons and those were just as amazing and helpful as well. I definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Wow, what a blast. I took my own car to their PDA Stage 1 class and the instructors took me from a novice that didn't know how to turn to someone who is seeing entry points, apexes and exit points consistently. The highlight for sure is getting to run the big 2.5 mile road course. What a blast. I cannot wait to go back for PDA Stage 2 where you get even more time on the big track!

I have now experienced the Audi Experience at the Simraceway Performance Driving Center twice and it was even better the second time. I have two Audis, including an S7, so it is a great deal of fun for me to drive the R8 on such an amazing track. Whether a novice or expert driver, I would highly recommend spending a day on that track with the team of expert Audi drivers and coaches.

I figured this would be a half day in the classroom going over safe driving tips then an afternoon doing some basic maneuvers in a parking lot. Well, no! Of course we started the day in a room to get a quick introduction of how the day would go and why taking such a course is important for anyone - not just young drivers but older drivers like me who were never taught correctly and/or developed bad driving habits. Then it was out to large blacktop areas with several cars to learn crash preparedness and avoidance techniques. Even while riding as a back seat passenger and having a young driver do a horrible job on the first course, the instructor in the front was still extremely patient and found encouraging words. By the second or third round this driver had improved so much. As a 52-year-old, I, too, came away with many great lessons that I apply to my daily driving. We had about four instructors for various parts of the training that we cycled through. Both male and female. All were encouraging while coaching, but they also had fun with us and made us laugh. We still knew the lessons were serious business, but we were able to have fun while learning. What didn't I like? Only one thing I can think of: I didn't care for the title of the course, "Teen Safe Driver Training". Yes, the course is great for teens, but I believe it is just as valuable to "experienced" drivers as well. I would remove the word "Teen" from the title and possibly add "Level 1" or similar to allow for different levels of training. I'm glad "Teen" was removed on my diploma or I wouldn't be putting it on display :).

I had a lot of fun and really learned how to drive, I made friendships and connections with the instructors.

I did the F3 half day school and it was a complete blast. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful, especially to those of us who had never been on an actual track before. The instructors had great feedback to give us, even if it was only a half day event. I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering it. Even if you're looking at doing one of the multi-day classes, this would be a great primer to get a feel for the car before spending multiple days in it.

We did the Audi driving school and had a blast. My husband and I have never done anything like this and were blown away how we hopped in the Audi TTS ready to shred some tires. The teachers are great and make the experience fun. We drove like race car drivers on the paddock then took a spin on the race track following the pro.

This well-organized full-day course gives teens the opportunity to practice defensive driving skills and learn the dangers of distraction in a safe environment. Classroom and driving time were split 20/80 (i.e., most of the time in the car), and the instructors were motivated, knowledgeable and good communicators. The vehicles were all late-model small sedans. Highly recommended for teen drivers. The only 'con' is that lunch should have been included in this the pricey event.
