Open to the public on advertised days! Right in the heart of the National Historic District in Yreka, California along Miner Street sits the Franco-American Hotel Building. There are several shops on the lower level, but a good part of the building is home to a private collection of historical items. A charming doll collection, a collection of Coca-Cola memorabilia, antique furniture, a antique clock collection and other goodies! Free! One can even pan for gold there during good weather! A great stop.
