Free live music provides the backround to the main event - beer. The brewery has many choices which change periodically and you can purchase a growler to take some home. Different food carts are there to provide ..food. Seating is entirely outdoor on picnic benches. Come with friends.

We were out hiking in the Winters area and decided to stop at the Berryessa Brewing Co. They have great beer. And while we were there a food truck was serving delicious falafel wraps and decadent cheese fries with tahini sauce on top. The bar area is very small, but they have ample covered seating outside -- lots of picnic tables. The place is dog friendly and picnic friendly. And you while you are sitting outside drinking a pint you have a great view of the hills to the west.

this place is awesome, very friendly staff and guest. They have different music every Fri/Sat/Sun. also different food trucks. Kids as well as pets have been welcome here, They have misters in the summer to keep cool and patio heaters in the winters so you can go anytime and feel comfortable. They have the most wonderful beers. My personal favorite is the Double Tap IPA. I think if you haven't tried it, you should make it a weekend point to do so, you won't be disappointed. Also feel free to bring cards, dice or boardgames, you can also bring your own food to eat. If you have a growler, bring it and fill it up to take home.

There are 6 kinds of beer at any one time. You can go for a pint, a half pint, or taste all six. My personal favorites are their Porters and Stouts, but these are only available in the fall and winter. Music - lots of local bands - everything from the Grateful Dead to country-western a la Sourdough Slim and Robert Anderson (often on the saw) to blues to Dixieland.A great place to get together with friends and the owners are very friendly. We bring our well- mannered dog with us to hang out.Oh yeah, and Food Trucks of every persuasion.Only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Berryessa Brewing has been opened for some time now, yet it is getting better and better in all aspects. The brewery is open Friday to Sunday. The sitting area was recently expanded and has a brand new cover. They have a food truck parked around the premises during open hours. Usually the food is good. The also have very entertaining music bands for the folks visiting during weekends. Now, the most important part, BEERs!! Berryessa Brews has a really nice selection of beers. My favorite is the double tap IPA. For the ladies, my wife who IS NOT a beer drinker loves their Saison. For summer days/nights I really enjoy the separation anxiety. There are many other types of beers and one just need to go visit the place and find which is the one that makes your palate jumps through hoops.

Every town should have a place like this, where you can meet old friends, drink beer, have a bite to eat if there's a food wagon, and hear good music, at least when I was there, that wonderful old timey stuff! (Sourdough Slim and Robert Armstrong). And it's outside, which contributes to the atmosphere. I can't judge the beer since I am more of a wine drinker, but it was cold!

Lots of picnic tables for seating. Food was great. Beer was not to my liking. But, the winery was next door and you could not have the wine tasting mixed with the beer tasting as they are two separate businesses. I sensed some animosity from the brewery staff (though not from the winery staff). Made it awkward for our group-some drink wine, some drink beer.

The beer is average but the location is fantastic. The service and atmosphere are worth the trip. The day we were there they had a Fusion food truck and rock climbing for the children. I recommend this place just for the joy of outdoor sitting and the great location.

We visited during one of their pick up parties ... and they went all out for the event. For my taste the wines are okay ... but I am spoiled by Napa wines.

Berryessa beer never disappoints - if it is on at a local restaurant, it is almost always my go to. We were very excited to try the brewery finally. They have about 6-7 taps and almost always have a food truck on site. Live music if you are lucky (and if you think it is too loud - move further away - there are plenty of benches). Will definitely be back - a great stop after a bike ride or hike!!

Stopped by the place twice while on this last trip. They had a Saison and Red IPA that I really liked, my wife and daughter liked the beer made with apple cider. They had a huge anniversary party this week with live music and some special tappings. The place was packed with couples and families, the little kids were dancing to the band and having a blast. Stop by for a pint, you wont be disappointed.

I was looking forward to a trip out there with some friends and family to try the beer. We had to scream at each other over the top of a really bad wanna be jazz combo that played their crazy little hearts out. We could not tolerate the noise long enough to stay for another beer.
