This place is definitely a local hole in West Sacramento. The servers were friendly and there was a wide variety of beers/ales to try. The menu was standard bar food fair, although I must admit that I've never heard of a duck burger before. Played it safe with a gold rush which was pretty much a bacon cheeseburger. Had a side salad instead of fries. The specialty fries were interesting. You can get that with the burger order. My colleague had the chili cheese fries. Not bad. There were certainly quite a few to try out. All in all, not bad. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back, but if I was in the area...I would.

Having seen this place on TV and wonder about all the buzz. Wow was I amazed by the Johnny Cash burger! The patty is peppered then grilled to perfection. Served with caramelized onions, bacon, cheese, crispy onion rings and lettuce. Simply the best burger around! Please tip the staff generously they hustle!

The location is hard to describe. This is the home of the Wicked Wich food truck.Each trip to date we have been friendly greeted and seated promptly. Staff is efficient to take orders and bring out extra utensils napkins if needed.Food portions are large. For example each trip to date we have ordered a small Banh mi Fries (well sized for a group of five, a meal for two people and an absolute must try on the menu. Slow roasted pork, pickled vegetables, jalapeños and citrus caramel sauce). If it's just two ordering to share the fries you will likely end up having leftovers if you both order sandwiches. For the trips to date we have tried the Tru Bleu (sweet burger with a fair Bleu crumbles), Cubano (marinated chicken with fresh vegetables), Johnny Cash (BBQ burger), Desperado (thinly sliced steak, mushroom and onions in a spicy cheese sauce). The burgers are cooked to maintain the flavor integrity. The rolls are warm, soft, and maintain integrity through each bite. Fries or side salad are crispy and amazingly farm fresh respectively.For drinks we have tried the DC Prospector and another to which I cannot recall the name. Drinks are well crafted with alcohol, juice, and various mix items. A fair balance of alcohol, ice, and mix. Various check up on the tables are well paced. Bill and check settlement are quick.Good: fast friendly in tune service paired with uniquely inspired farm fresh ingredients is a winning combination. Bad: nothing to date. Five stars. I will be back.

We tried this place after a couple of locals in Sacramento suggested we try it out. We got seated right away and placed out order. I was glad that there were plant based food items and was eager to try the Tofu Scramble. Then we waited...and waited...and waited. We waited almost an hour and a half before the server came over and said our food would be right out. I'm not sure what happened...but the wait was awful. Once we got the food...the food was outstanding and I can see why friends had suggested this place.I was told that was a freak incident and had never happened in the course of others going there...hmmmm
