The Weed Store is great. It's a must stop. Filled with fun items from shirts to fridge magnets, you'll not be disappointed. It's all about Weed.

Some of my friends would love this place! Cute little town - great stop to stretch your legs and catch some cresh air! Ahh!!!

This is a fun stop and this store really capitalizes on Abner Weed's last name to the delight of my pot-loving better half. We bought too much stuff (suppressing an eye roll here) and learned from the super friendly cashier that Weed High is actually the name of the school he attended. good times...

A fun 'browse'. Very nice staff. Weed is a nice little town, right off I-5. It is named after a person, but has a hilarious connotation. Anything from 25 cent matches to more interesting items. All in fun.

This is a shop that capitalizes on the town's name of "Weed" by selling items with the connotation of those "funny cigarettes". :-) They had a good variety of novelty items and we enjoyed browsing around the shop. Stop in if you're in the area. It's definitely different, in a good way.

We had more fun here with our teenagers buying t-shirts with funny Weed sayings. The owner of the shop was in and was very kind and helpful. If you like photography, you will find some beautiful images here by the owner and available in the store. This is a must do stop and thanks to the owners for recommending we stop at the Living Memorial Sculpture Garden, we would never have known it was there if not for her telling us about it. This stop made a great stop on our drive from Lassen to Crater Lake.

I never really saw the town of Weed but my son, his girlfriend and I walked around the streets of Weed and it is a quaint little town where people are friendly and talk to you. We went in a couple of the stores that were open and just enjoyed the scenery and the weather. Weed would be a great place to retire if you like quiet little towns.

Yes, its a huge plan on words but that is the draw I'm sure. The staff was super friendly and helped us get the items we wanted as souvenirs. They made the recommendation to eat at Hi-Lo Cafe a few doors down and we headed right on down after getting some pictures of the area. Just outside their building by the back parking you can grab an excellent pic of Mt Shasta. Thank you Weed Store for the help and info.

Photography Lovers: you will find exquisite images (the owner's) of all sizes, in this store. Local scenery, including the magnificent Mt Shasta, are professionally and beautifully presented and reasonably priced. If you'd rather just find some wonderful souvenirs, they are all here! And the fun and funny local theme T-Shirts are very original, clever, and high quality. Again, fairly priced. We were fortunate to meet the owner; he and his staff are all genuinely wonderful folks. The Weed Store is on right side of the main drag leading into town from Highway 5 southbound -- you can't miss it -- you wouldn't want to!

My husband and I were on a California/Oregon coast driving trip in May 2012 and drove from the Mt. Shasta area through Weed, California. It was a tiny town with a view of the mountain. The name "Weed" was derived from one of the town's founders, I believe, but some people might poke fun at the name for other reasons. They even have a Weed Pharmacy...hmmmm.We wanted souvenirs for some friends in Texas so we found a small roadside building called The Weed Store. They had all kinds of "Weed" items like t-shirts, coasters, stickers, etc. The salesman was full of local history and very nice. He even gave us a free full-sized 2012 wall calendar of beautiful Mt. Shasta photographs, which I look at often.
