Wildwood Regional Park offers hiking, bird watching, and picnicking. Wonderful during Winter and Spring. Thank you!

What I love most about this park is the ability to take a different hike every day of the week. One day you might choose a challenging hike with a bit of a climb, while on another day a leisurely stroll. You can take an adventure down to the waterfall and can always see beautiful native plants all along the way. It is a dog friendly park which I love.

Wildwood Regional Park is home to Paradise Falls. This is a nice destination for a hike when the water levels are high. Be sure to pack a lunch and enjoy the picnic tables near the water falls. Very peaceful, if you're lucky enough to catch this place without a crowd.

You can hike for 20 minutes or hours. It does get rocky in some spots, but I still see people with strollers nonetheless. Such a perfect day of hiking because you can make it as easy or difficult as you want. Beautiful scenery, clean air, and exercise without knowing it. Perfect

The wild outdoors in an urban setting. Within the City of Thousand Oaks, multi hiking trails and mountain biking trails, a creek with a waterfall, wildlife and the size of such that you can hike all day and not see it all in ti's entirety. Well maintained by Park Rangers and local Conego Valley volenteers.

This is a beautiful and safe hike. It's a huge area with lots of different paths you can take. You don't have a bunch of people in your face. There's wildlife there and places to rest. If you walk correctly, there's beautiful waterfalls.

Two waterfalls, large tepee waystation, pleasant way to spend an hour or more, occasional picnic table along trails.

Awesome view(s) as you walk. There are a lot of great trails which are not all flat there are some hills. Bring your friend (s) family and your dogs. It is a great place and there are a lot of people that walk on the weekends. Easy parking.

I loved my little walk here, the views for me (a Brit who's never been anywhere near Canyons before) was awesome, i had to stop countless times just to take it all in. I thought the land had a really special feel to it and did very much remind me of old Cowboy films (which they did indeed film here!).Highly recommended for a short stroll, or indeed a long one! Bring water though it can get hot hot hot!

A portion of the scenes from Gunsmoke was filmed here you will probably recognize the bluffs. There is a small waterfall located in the valley. If you are coming in the morning make sure to take layers as the valley is quite a bit cooler then than the main parking area. If you are looking for an easier hike to the top of the ridge, start straight out of the main parking lot and continue up the hill, then you will hit the switchbacks on the way down.

Easy access, free parking, a variety of hikes through riparian and chaparral areas, good trails, restrooms and water, dogs on leash, creeks and Indian caves. Too bad they closed the childrens' play fort.

We like to do this w/the kids. The road in can be a bit rough in parts (esp for a stroller but a jogger stroller can certainly get you there), and hold the kiddos for some steep points so they don't slip but a fun, easy hike that can be done w/the family and the waterfall is always a nice thing to see. Many other trails nearby if you wish to be more adventurous and want a longer trek.

Our house backs onto the park so we get a great view of this natural wilderness park. Not for anyone not up to fairly intense walking because of the steep trails, but for those in shape a great outdoors experience.

Ok maybe "suburban" escape but still an escape. Just a short hike and you are free into the wild. The trails are very well maintained and well marked. The hike to the waterfall is popluar but not overly so. The canyon is was used for some western movies in the past. This is a great little park. Best of all dogs allowed so bring fido for a hike!

There are many trails, and you can combine them to create whatever length of jaunt you want. Keep your eye out for snakes and steer clear of the cactus. A good place to bring your dog for a walk! The hike to the waterfall is one of the best here.
