My daughter and I went for a ride this morning. It was very nice. Our guide was Alex. He gave us lots of instruction to make sure we had a safe and fun ride. We would definitely go back.

My boyfriend brought me out to Norco a few weeks back to go horseback riding, I had no Idea we were going horseback riding! When we got there, it didn't take long before we were on the horses and on our way! I was kind of nervous, but my guide, Megan who is also the Barn Manager, made me feel really comfortable. She was funny, too. About half way through, another shock, we stopped and got off the horses for a break. She served us a glass of martinellis and some chocolate, and then left. It was so amazing basically being in the middle of no where with my man. The views are amazing here. After thirty or so minutes, she showed back up, packed up our things, and helped us back on out horses. When we got back to the barn, my BF was allowed to pick a few roses for me. I had such a wonderful time and I want to go back for more!! Definitly worth the money!

I’m a grad student who’s inside all day, and I desperately needed to get out and see the summer sun. I had seen people horse riding in Norco and thought I’d give it a try. Sunshine and Daydreams had their schedule up online so making an appointment and paying was really easy convenient. Alex was my guide and I believe Bella was my horse. I went on a weekday, so I got some 1 on 1 time with Alex. We started off on North Ave and we rode by a nursery and through the Santa Ana river bed, which is now a nature preserve. It was surprisingly green with even some exotic plants present (there was a Bamboo canopy over the trail). We took another trail uphill, which led us to a 1920s era hydroelectric plant (ruins) which I thought was pretty cool.Alex, my guide, was personable and customized the ride to my needs. He asked what type of a ride I was looking for (easy, medium, hard trail) and provided solid riding instruction. I had never ridden before so I wasn’t aware how our feet were supposed to be positioned in stirrups or how to hold reigns. I learned basic commands: clicking/squeezing to speed up and pulling in reigns to slow down. We even progressed to a trot a few times-which felt surprisingly different on the saddle (very bouncy). All in all, it was a fun ride with a great value. Would highly recommend!

Last week my friend and I had real nice ride. We are experienced riders but had not been on a horse in several months. We were given very well trained horses that responded to a very light touch. Meghan, a young but experienced rider and guide was attentive and knowledgable with helpful instruction. The riding trails are scenic and wide open for loping and cantering which I look forward to on my next ride.
