A wonderful rustic cabin theatre nestled in the mountains. A family venue that has so much character and wonderful performances with powerful acting abilities. We keep coming back each year.Loren & Dolores

Joy Groves oversees this sophisticated little theater (seats 24) in a very unlikely location on this dusty dirt road in Morongo Valley. Contemporary plays with topical themes. Production values are consistently high and prices modest. It's like being in an equity waiver theater in LA, but way out here in this tiny desert hamlet.

Known for putting on local, non-equity productions. Saw "Lemonade" on Saturday 3/22. It was an enjoyable series of one-act plays that involved "lemonade" in its storylines. Theater holds only 20, and reservations go fast. Cast was first-rate. Tickets only $10. Along with Theatre 29, would recommend to any theatre-goer in the Hi-Desert to visit Groves Cabin. You will not be disappointed.
