The people here are wonderful and the wine is delicious and so reasonably priced, the best "case" price we saw during our Valentines Day Madera Wine Trail Visit.

Chateau Lasgoity specializes in red and white table wines. It is a family owned winery just 3 miles South of the town of Madera on Pine Street ( road 26). The wine was delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend visiting Chateau Lasgoity!

A very nice winery with a great staff. You will probably meet the owner/winemaker. The Blanc du Val is one of my favorites as well as the Rouge du Val. You should try this winery if you are in the Madera area, or if you live there.

We drove out to Chateau Lasgoity about 3 pm yesterday, and saw no signs for entrance - it was Mother's Day. Surprised because they were listed as open until 5 pm on the wine tour, but it appeared to us they were not available for tasting. We'll try again, next time we're in Madera.

Our visit to Chateau Lasgoity, a family owned and run boutique winery was a pleasant surprise. The wife's owner, Alyson, was our pourer and was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and grapes. The hours are limited, but it is still open during the times you would be visiting the other wineries on the Madera Wine Trail. There is a $5 per person tasting fee which is appled toward your purchase. Be sure to make this a stop on your wine tasting trip.
