Who said there was no water this year going down the Sierra? We had a blast on the SouthFork of the American River with Beyond Limits Adventures. We asked for a 'really wet' trip,and were already surfing a rapid 2 minutes later! The guide was amazing, allowing us to do 'bull riding' at the front of the raft, and sometimes to swim the rapids. My 12-year-old daughter lovedit. After the rafting, we stayed for the night at the Beyond Limits campground, by the river. Very relaxing, with some gold panning and swimming. We highly recommend!

Awesome time with the family. The staff are super fun and well experienced which pretty much calmed our nerves since it was our very first river rafting ever. It is a great experience to have and to try for anyone of all ages young and old. Oh and photos will be available after the river rafting for souvenirs. ;) Thank you to all of the staff esp Mike and Julia our awesome guides. They made the river rafting extra fun and adventurous! Hope to see you all again next time. :-)

My kids and I had the great pleasure to ride the South Fork of the American river with Beyond Limits... We can't say enough about their accommodations, staff, and the fun we had while staying with them! Thanks Mike, Lee and the rest of the close knit staff!!

Enjoyed our end of the summer trip with beyond limits. The guide and the company was extremely experienced, kept us entertained while maximize our fun. Couple of us jumped in and floated at the advice of the guide, and had loads of fun! The location of the office was great....easy to find via GPS, easy walk to launch site, Will definitely recommend anyone with or without family to take this south fork 1/2 day trip!

Great time with great staff. Fun and professional. Everything we wanted and more. We felt safe and did everything we wanted and were promised. Been here many times over the years and plan on coming back over and over again. Mike and his staff answered all questions and came through in a huge way. Thanks a ton!

This was a team event for our baseball team of 14 year old boys and their families. The guides were great and helped create an amazing memory for all involved.

Fantastic rafting day with Lee as our guide. Great fun for all for us all. He kept us safe as well as entertained all the time. Big pleasure!

We had Christine as our guide which is very friendly and totally recommend. The owner was very professional, we had a group that wanted to pay per card separate and he was the only company to offer the group discount with that stipulation and sent me an email that was very informative and had a reservation code each person was able to use. They have a nice store and grill as well.

Beyond Limits Adventures provides one of the most competitive prices I was able to find on the Internet, which really hooked me in. I went on the South Fork Gorge Run, and found the trip to be pretty exciting, especially for beginner rafters. The trip's raft guide (Patrick) was also quite friendly, constantly joking to keep the atmosphere light.Overall, I think this rafting company did a great job of getting us on the river quickly, and allowing us to enjoy the river. The crew all seemed quite knowledgeable. High recommendation.

We went for the middle fork day trip. There was 4 of us with Lee as our guide. We all had a brilliant day. Lee knew how to keep you entertained and was always up for having craic. Relaxed approach to rafting but always felt like he was in control. Tunnel chute was amazing!

We had a great trip. The staff was helpful, experienced and fun. We are going back soon for some class 4 rapids. And i know i will choose Beyond Limits again.

We stayed with BL for a 2 nights and 2 trips down river. We all had a great time! Our guide, Gurrell (not sure how you spell his name) was fantastic! His dog, "Chica", was sweet too. Very experienced, and led us on a great adventure. He had great stories, and clearly knew the American River like the back of his hand! He let several people "ride the bull", we got to "surf", and we did a few "rock slides", which was awesome! Looking forward to coming back and doing it again. BL has a good setup, they have been doing business for about 30years. The food was good, and the location was close to anything you need. Highly recommended!

We had such a great trip! We did the Class 3 afternoon Gorge trip. My boyfriend and I were on a raft with 6 others. I felt totally safe and well cared for. Ivan was our guide. He was really laid back and easy to understand when he was giving directions. When I was researching various companies, I ruled out all but 2. We chose Beyond Limits as our first choice and are so glad we did...We look forward to going again!If you can, make sure that you fill your raft with your friends and family because this would be far more fun.All in all, a fantastic experience, and an outstanding company!!!!!!Thank you soooooo much for our first river experience. I would go again in a minute!
