I like the friendly people but not the price. The facility was clean and had relaxing reading rooms and smelled very good with calming background music.

My first "spa" experience was amazing. Our team went to Tenaya Lodge just south of Yosemite to tour the resort (which is spectacular) and to try out the Ascent Spa. From the minute we walked into the spa you feel relaxed. I had the facial by Diane. She was amazing, friendly, explained each process and I left with a glowing face :).....not shining but fresh, healthy and fabulous :)The rest of the team had massages by various massage therapists at the spa. They raved about their treatments and we all said this is something we need to do more often. Talk about a team building experience! Thank you Tenaya Lodge & Ascent Spa! We will definitely be back!

Absolute poor Luxury unfortunately just couldn't afford to go more than once was a bit expensive but it warrants it for all the luxury it has to offer. Staff was amazing!

If I were to review the spa amenities as a whole, and front desk professionalism, I'd give this place a 5. It is immaculately clean and beautifully relaxing. The lady at the front desk was friendly and kind.But what I paid for was a deep tissue massage, so my review is for that. I didn't catch the name of my masseuse, she had long blonde hair. Instead of listening to what I needed, she insisted she knew what was best. I have severe tension in my neck and shoulders and get regular deep tissue massages, so I can tell how good someone is within minutes. She was in hurry, sighed a lot, and finished EARLY, which should never happen. There was no one else at the spa (I had an early morning appt and I was the only one in the entire guest area). I was ready to give her a tiny tip, but the spa automatically adds 18% gratuity, so I had no choice. I can't blame her necessarily, she's not working to gain repeat clients, she's just doing the bare minimum to get paid. But for a massage in a resort as nice as the Tenaya, she gets 2 stars only.

My wife and son had a great massage and came away feeling relaxed and well looked after. The professionalism of the staff was wonderful. A great gym next door to the Spa as well

We went for a couples massage. We enjoyed the spa as well as the massage! It had a steam and sauna room too.

My husband and I had hiked for a number of hours in Yosemite and then returned for a spa visit; we were not disappointed. My therapist, Richard, was brilliant. I had a back treatment combined with a massage and it was so lovely after a day in the park. The door revitaliser treatment which was an add on, was just the thing to sort out my aching feet; I would definitely recommend this spa.

I had a knot in my shoulders from cycling and then driving all day to Yosemite made it even tighter. My friend booked a classic massage and I booked a deep tissue massage. The spa is very luxurious and the massage really helped. It was a bit pricey but worth it.

My husband and I were staying at the Tenaya Lodge and decided to have messages. There is a women's and a men's section which I prefer. Each side has a relaxation room, a sauna, and a steam room. My husband had a traditional message which he loved and I had a custom message that included a combination of Swedish and a leg and foot message. It was great to be able to customize exactly what I wanted. We would definitely go back.

This is a very good spa you will have access while at the hotel to use the sauna and restrooms. Had a deep tissue for one hour and it was great, my wife enjoyed too

Marna and I won a 90 minute spa treatment for each of us in a drawing at the Los Angeles Travel Show. Our treatments were on a Sunday morning so we practically had the entire facility to ourselves. I went early and took advantage of the fitness center. After working out I availed myself of both the steam room and the dry sauna. I chose a signature deep tissue massage and Marna chose the hot stone massage. After the treatments we both went back to our respective spa facilities where we avialed ourselves of the spa facilites once again. We both had excellent massage threapists and we both agreed that we felt more relaxed than we had in a long time. Compared to other high end spas I feel the treatments are reasonably priced and would recommend Ascent's treatments and staff to anyone.
