We stayed at a Lake in a State Park in Colorado, but when we found we couldn't rent a speed boat and take our 4 teens out we called around up North at Lake McConaughy and were told that Big Mac Parasailing rented out speedboats and jet skis. We called up and were able to reserve their speed boat for later in the afternoon.Traveling out to the lake, Big Mac was situated on the beach at the waters edge of the beach in a portable Marina. The drive onto the beach did require our 4 wheel drive vehicle (you'd need to park and walk or they'd pick you up if you don't have the right vehicle to drive down a couple hundred yards to the shore (at least when we went).The speedboat was plenty big enough for my wife and I and 4 teenagers. The rental came with a big tube where two at a time could be dragged behind the speedboat. The kids had a great time and we plan to come back to camp and visit again. I highly recommend Big Mac. Next time, we might also try the parasailing. We saw some others up there and it looked like a blast.
