listening room

It had been nearly 4 years since we last visited the Listening Room. The new venue, The Lark, is exceptionally well designed for a small music hall. The seating is intimate, accommodates 100+ very comfortably. They serve popcorn and drinks. A unique gem for Central Nebraska. The website to purchase tickets is a little frumpy, but it works well enough to provide a unique evening of entertainment.

We recently attended a concert at the brand new venue for The Listening Room . . The Loft. This is a BEAUTIFUL facility. Beautifully refurbished with a smallish stage (I understand it can. . Or will. . Be expanded) with good sound and lighting, a lovely vintage bar, cozy reserved tables and rows of chairs for seating. The Listening Room brings in artists from afar as well as more local talent. The music tends towards folk, with lots of original compositions.
