toana vista golf course

Didn't get to golf as there was snow. I can't wait to come back in the summer and give it a whirl. I don't know how I'm supposed to put 50 characters here when I don't have 59 characters to say. It was winter, there was snow. I didn't get to golf.

Besides the fact that you have to go to West Wendover to golf here, it is a decent course that they do a pretty good job of keeping maintained. It's no 5 star golf resort, but for being in such a bad city, it certainly is a light of hope for West Wendover. Bring your own clubs, as the rentals are somewhat expensive for the quality here. It is a pretty flat course, so i recommend walking it instead of using a cart. There is not much shade or large trees, but it is in a very flat, hot area so that makes sense. If you are forced to go to Wendover, go golf here and enjoy a few hours of quiet, clean fun.

My husband had the entire course to himself as this was during the period when the airport was being repaired. The only others on the course were the four legged wild kind. Wonderful course and we shall return. The staff was extremely friendly as well.

I am always treated like a customer at Toana Vista! The staff is pleasant and very helpful. I've taken a couple lessons there and always enjoyed it!

When we arrived for our tee time there was a staff member who met us at our shuttle and ushered us right to our waiting golf carts with our club rentals all ready to go. And when we were finished our golfing there was another staff member right by the clubhouse waiting to receive the carts/clubs back. All we had to do was show up and golf (and pay as well). Not over-priced (all golf is expensive). Fun little course to try. Not a lot of trees but we are in the middle of the desert....and when you hit it into the rough it is desert scrub rough!

This is a very enjoyable course for any skill level and provides a pleasant break from the casinos. The staff at the pro shop were really friendly!

If you're a golfer and you find yourself in West Wendover, Nevada, find this golf course...you'll be glad you did. If you purchase a voucher at your hotel you'll play golf for $34. Our day started off with a free 5 minute shuttle ride from Peppermill hotel/casino. We arrived at the course to be greeted immediately by an employee who asked if we needed golf clubs. We went inside the beautiful clubhouse and were shown our options. I chose a new set of Taylormades for $45. They also gave me a package of tees and a box of 6 Taylormade golf balls. After that it was off to the driving range for as long as we wanted since we were about an hour early for our tee time. The course was in great shape. The fairways are nice and the greens are smooth and FAST. There's antelope running around on the course. One was chasing another and and ran so close to us we felt the ground shake. It was scary for a minute until we realized what was happening. I'm really looking forward to playing here again.You'll have a fun round of golf. Go play...you'll see.

The golf course was great. There was actual live antelope on the green. The check in process was very simple and the staff were very friendly.

This course is fun because it offers tee positions for every golfer. It was not crowded and played quickly. I played the front tees and loved how friendly those tees were ! The guys played the back tees and thought it was challenging but fair. Nice proshop and clubhouse. If you're staying in town, be sure to check with your hotel for a golf package. We got a good deal from Montego Bay Resort. The proshop was great about suggesting a tee time that worked with our unpredictable April weather.

This is really a very nice course. They have several different fun tournaments and the price is quite reasonable.
