The casino is vey nice. There are quite a variety of games to play and the pay outs were reasonable. The staff is very nice and helpful. The casino was also very generous with their comps. It is a little smokey, as are most casinos. There was live music playing in the bar area on the weekend.

Downstais where you come in by valet parking they had large old fashioned Santa display and also beautiful Christmas tree and a cute Mickey Mouse and snowman figures great for Family Photo Op Also we were politely told we couldn't get into the steak house without a reservation for at least 3hrs but that is reasonable We just decided to go there instead of Reno and the cofffee shop prime rib dinner was very good and the service was good too!! It wasn't crowded we were handed a buzzer but had barely sat down to wait when we were seated in a booth!! It was very pleasent

We had great rooms and could loved the convenience, being right in the middle of town. It's a busy place and the casino and restaurants are right there in-house. CVI is within walking distance of so many shops and restaurants.

Has the big casino feeling while it being no so big. Like that they have an outside venue for some well known talent that are desperate for money to play in a small community as this.

The food at the Steak House is to die for! A great place for a special occasion or just a night out. The food is world class. Katies restaurant is just good food. The only complaint is that they are always busy. But all good places should be. The event center is a wonderful addition to our community with the best entertainers, comfortable seats and plenty of parking. My clients have all reported the hotel rooms are nice when they visit the area and the gaming is fun.

I just returned home from a 3 night stay. We were well taken care of by the Valet/bell staff and the front desk. It was lovely to return to our room which was expertly cleaned by the housekeeper. Remember to tip your Maid, they work hard. My meals in Katie's Kitchen were basic breakfast fare but the service was prompt and the food hot. What more could anyone want? Thank you for a great stay!

We go here a lot for breakfast/dinner. The Sat eggs Benedict cannot be beat. Also love their pork chili verde burrito and plate. Their verde and their Mexican beans are spicy and delicious. Service is always good.

We have previously stayed in the main hotel, but this time opted for the motor lodge. Prefer to park car right near room door for convenience and security. Well appointed room, comfy beds, coffee maker and free wifi. New flat panel TV. Very quiet and 2 minute walk to main hotel/casino. No mini fridge in our room.

the casino is packed with locals, wonderful staff, and great restaurants! Also, the room prices are very reasonable and just a 30 minute drive to lake tahoe!

Wonderful staff and dealers. Nice and small. They keep the booze flowing:) and its OK to smoke in there. That's becoming a hard thing to come by

Carson Valley Inn has gone through a major remodel the last few weeks and is now a stellar place to go for fun. The casino area has a lot of fun slot games, some table games, live poker, and more. On some nights there is a live band that is generally quite good. Several bars in the casino and the friendly staff comes by regularly to ask if you want a complementary drink while playing the slot machines.The casino club has special nights like ladies nights, drawing nights for nice prices, and more. They do a regular monthly mailing that includes such things as free play, a generous coupon for use at their excellent restaurant Katie's, as well as sometimes free gas coupons. In addition, the casino has special events. Just recently saw Eddie Money play in their wonderful outdoor concert area. For that concert, they also gave two free cocktail coupons for each person.This is a very nice casino, atmosphere is nice.Its a local casino.....as well as one that is fun to go to if visiting in the area.

It is a small casino, has plenty of slot machines and table games to keep you busy. Very clean and customer service always there to clean and replenish your drinks. there is a lot of historical areas to visit in the area and only about 30 minutes to Reno.
